I'm just wondering if you realize that we're not trying to convince you.

If only I've experienced something than obviously it only works as evidence for me, and only I can explain it.

Maybe you'd care to explain your belief and what convinces you?

Convincing discussions borderline proselytizing.

Working from the op...I don't think this thread is going all that well.

If you do anything at all...it's because you thought you should....or you felt like it.
If you believe.....it should be for cause and reason.

setting aside what you are told....
setting aside what other people do....
setting aside your own experiences....
would be the way to go.

SCIENCE!

A creation is a reflection of it's Creator.
Science helps to sort through the details of how things are formed.

Stand beneath a clear night sky and declare .....there is not God.
See if it echoes in your own ear as truth.

If creation is the reflection of a creator than I'd say Polytheism makes more sense than the Monotheistic kind of creator.

Nothing about this existence suggests or reflects a perfect creator.

He didn't call it 'perfect'.

Just good.

And in terms of superlatives.....there is only one....Almighty.

It can, and has been explained by others, and you have a very week assertion, without support or reason.

Well that's your opinion and so far you've yet to explain anyone's experiences.

People believe what they believe because various circumstances and experiences have led them to that conclusion as the most logical stance, you and me included.

I can agree that everyone has there own logical stance, but some are verifiable, while others are not.

The beauty of faith is that it's not verifiable, so there's no point to mention veracity in a discussion about why people believe.

Because this is where my exploration has led me and I don't seem to be changing my mind any time soon.
