If you don't believe in god, or subscribe to a religion... why come to a religious forum to take time from your god-less life and discuss religion?

(Post Script: Ant Empire is agnostic-atheist, so yeah, not trying to be offensive, I've been asked this question (Been jumping around religious forums for a while) just wondering how you'll react, or if you will. Maybe you'd never thought about it like that..?)
I get bored fairly easily. I come here to debate things.

Well why would you join a Pokemon fan club if you wish Pikachu was never invented?
It's more like if everyone who played the Pokemon games thought Pikachu was real and that he expects us to run the government a certain way.

I thought there was going to be a keg and jello shots. WTF? Come to find out it's just a bunch of holy rollers and some atheists going back and forth on stuff I don't really understand.

Ehh, I figured I'd hang around anyway. It gets pretty funny when some theists start trying to explain 'why' evolution is a farce or how we should all change our heathen ways before gettin' thrown into hell. That always makes me laugh.
Makes me laugh to, the latest one was something like this:

"Forum rules are not important when your soul is at stake."

I'm an atheist, and religion is the one thing on this planet that interests me most. Of course, I'm a Buddhist, so I'm here for that reason, too. But just because a person is an atheist and non-religious, doesn't mean they don't have an interest in religion, or opinions on it.

 Isnt it a religious forum? Wouldnt they come to spread their own beliefs about who wrote religious texts, their concept of morality, what they believe should be taken should be left out, where society should be headed etc?

If you believe in one god and subscribe to a single religion, why come to a religious forum to talk about all the other gods and religions?

I think you'll find that most of the answers to that question apply to atheists as well.

Would you take a course on medieval Europe if you weren't a medieval European?

I'm an atheist that does believe in god. I find enough to chat about here to interest me.
