Why do you looking to find faults in other peoples belief?

My wish is for them to end the persecution of religious people no matter what religion one belong to.
And yes, it has been a long road to walk, but finally i am 100% calm from within my being during this form of discussion.

I do get a lot more clear answers this time, so maybe this will be the last of this form of questions from me.
I don't mind non-believers or agnostic people at all, they are as free as I am to hold and speak about their "belief"
When they say "we do it to teach the believers", that I find a bit humoristic actually:)

Hopefully it will be a time in RF that in discussion each person can accept the answers that is given, even one do not hold the same belief.
But time will tell.
It's like helping an alcoholic. You bring them to rehab, clean their house, cry over them, etc. Then there comes a day when you say no more and start thinking about you're well being.

My experience is that one can never have a robust worldview or a robust skill unless one constantly exposed oneself to external criticism. You want to be a painter, yes? Unless you go out and receive criticisms (and praise) from customers or art enthusiasts for the weakness (and strengths) of your painting skill how can you improve? I have seen many people who are unable to handle criticisms of their beliefs, their work or their faith. That tells me that there exists a fragile ego within them that responds emotionally to negative comments and acts to shield itself from things that paint a negative picture of itself. Of course, everyone has this to a greater or lesser extent, including me. Just as criticizing others just to show superiority is an example of ego, unable to handle criticisms from others is the example of the ego.

Anyways that is my sense of it.
In the work of art i have no issue with getting constructive critique:) those are physical objcts i create my self.

In religious beliefs, it is a personal belief that one has to better oneself. That is between God and the theists.

In the bigger picture of this world, I am nothing :) to serve others is the calling i see. They are in focus, not me

Don't communicate with or even acknowledge toxic people who critique youre belief. It's simple. Most of us do it every day.

I personally would just say, no thank you, I already have my belief.

How can you correct someone who believe different than your self?
Sometimes one can show that they are not following their own holy book. Or that their belief paints there god as being evil. Sadly most have severe cognitive dissonance when that happens A persons ability to reason rationally about their own religious beliefs can be very limited.

Why do you looking to find faults in other peoples belief and faith, when you would hate when others did that to you? Are you that insecure about yourself?

If you calling other people's faith for evil, are you any better yourself?
If people choose to post on the debate boards at RF, and not the Insiders Only ones, surely they can't be surprised if debate follows?

So believers should only post in Dir? It is a religious forum :) it is meant to be discussion between believers:)

I prefer people from same faith to correct me if needed. Those who have walk the path before me.
Wouldn't you appreciate learning somehting regardless from whom?
What is the difference learning a thing from a theist than from an atheist?

Also people as a group can have a blind spot.
