Why does Hamas launch rockets from cities?

To be fair, this only pertains to US Army Spec Ops.

It is also true of the SAS, SBS, and certain Australian SOFs I'm not supposed to know about, as well as a few now-defunct (but almost certainly reincarnated) units in numerous countries. The unit generally known as "delta force" was based upon a combination of Special Forces and SAS.

The best example of how two very different countries still use fairly standard operations tactics is Afghanistan when the US and Russia were both training indigenous forces and utilizing guerilla warfare tactics.

It's also fairly irrelevant. Israel has military units, tactics, equipment, and technology that can eradicate any and all persons in places like the Gaza strip and could do almost as much damage without losing US support and ensuring that groups from those within non-specific refugee camps to Hamas are supported by most if not all Western countries. Instead, they spend millions on training, small arms (both ammunition and units), high end recon tech & corresponding HUMINT, etc. This isn't to say they don't use brutal tactics and kill indiscriminately within certain bounds. They do, and they need not nor are such operations defensible.

However, this notion that the Israelis are simply doing anything and everything to kill their enemies is idiocy. I know highly trained operatives who have given their lives to apprehend individuals rather than level buildings or died trying to ensure that innocents aren't killed by indiscriminate bombings/missiles.

Given Israel's immense military superiority, if it's intent has been to target Gazan civilians it has been almost preternaturally ineffective.

Same with the supposed genocide.

They are doing something seriously wrong.
There are still some leading figures of the Khmer Rouge alive. No harm in asking the experts how to do it.

I think that in addition to military targets, they are targeting a range of civilian infrastructure with little regard for the lives of civilians. That is not the same as targeting civilians, but it's still causing a bit of a PR problem for Israel.

With Israel truely wanted to kill all of them Israel could so very easily. They have nukes.

They could destroy every arab country. However, they have never used one.

And exactly what information supposedly leads you to this conclusion?

There are no de-populated areas in Gaza. Gaza is a cage. Why worry, it's no skin off the Israelis to go in and smart bomb the heck out of every man, woman and child every 4 years. Plus, the munitions are all paid for by the US.

They could, but it would have catastrophic consequences - a phyrric victory.
