Why is pornography bad?

You would trust Ted Bundy's word over that of scientists? That's quite interesting. But I fear it says more about your prejudices than it does about the science.

Ted Bundy said pornography was the springboard that started his madness. Did he have a reason to lie ya think?

Ted Bundy said all manner things that were flat out not true.
Seems to me that the ONLY reason you hold his opinion on this matter in such high esteem is because you think it helps your argument.

I have an idea. Why don't you just jump in head first into pornography and see how it affects you? Spend just a little time each day, or more if you like, watching, looking at pornography over 30 days, then post the results. How you feel, things in your life that have changed, your ability to find pleasure in other daily activities, etc. There's a thread I would read.

Day 25... my wrist are really starting to hurt

But, seriously pornography is about as dangerous as eating too many sweets. That's not to say that sexual addiction dosen't exist and there are people out there that should stay away from it, but so what. Not to be too graphic, but pornography is just a tool.

We shouldn't limit others rights just because someone can't control themselves.

As to the whole exploitation thing, I don't know. If the people doing these things really are sick they are going to find an outlet for their dysfunctions anyway so maybe we could focus on fixing society instead of trampling on the rights of grown adults.

Wait. Who's talking about limiting rights? Or the ability to look at porn?

LOL! The man was sitting in prison looking for a scapegoat to blame for his madness and you need to ask whether he had a reason to lie?

But even if he had no reason to lie, he's one guy mouthing a personal opinion that is not in line with the findings of several scientists. How creditable can that possibly be?
