Why is Satan bad?

~Amin~

God is the King
But in the Bible (and someone has actually attempted to tally a body count) the total this person has reached (so far) that were murdered by God's hand comes to 2,270,265.
All beings human or animals or anything Live and Die
by God Power and permission did He Not Create Death?
And Life?
these are very impressive numbers compared to the entity Satan, who has done...what- tempted and taunted someone in a desert and some others in a garden? Tempting and taunting I can handle, blasted to death by the hand of God is a little more difficult to recover from.
Satan doesnt have power over Life and Death.
And satan will say when the matter has been concluded,
"Indeed, God had promised you the promise of Truth.
And i promised you, but i betrayed you.BUT I HAD NO
AUTHORITY OVER YOU EXCEPT THAT I INVITED YOU
AND YOU RESPONDED TO ME . so do not blame me;

but blame yourselfs.QUR'AN 14,22.

Satan is bad because he's evil. He tempts people and tries to drag them down. Satan sucks.

:) satan was created by dominant religions in order to impose fear upon its underlings who would be "punished" if they didn't stand in line and do exactly as they were told in order to one of "god's people."

Satan is about as evil as any God, he just has a bad name because religious leaders have to pass off the problems with the world to someone.

Also, without a Satan (evil) there would be no good (God) in order to make faith practical??

But it was your God who created Satan & let's him do those evil things, so whose worse? God or Satan?

If it wasn't for our decisions or tendancies to embrace sin, Satan would have no power over us. So to answer your questions, Satan is worse. Jesus was tempted by the devil on several occassions and in many ways faced the same things that you and I go through on a daily basis. How you face those temptations on how much room you give Satan in your life are all conscious decisions. No doubt Satan has the power to do evil things but it's a limited power and one that will be conquered before the end.

First of all I don't believe that Jesus could of ever been tempting by a lesser being.
Jesus was never tempted by the things that we go though. IF God did make us then he made us flawed which in turn makes him flawed too.

Why not and says who?
IF God did make us then he made us flawed which in turn makes him flawed too.

So what God makes has to be 100% perfection or else he isn't God? That doesn't seem too reasonable to me. I think we were made to be suited for our environment on Earth but the bible makes it clear that it isn't our ultimate destination. If you'd like to judge God based on how he makes us, I think our heavenly bodies would be a better indicator.

Jesus was perfect so says the bible he could not be tempted.

He may have been perfect in one facet of his divinity but he also took on the form of humanity as well. When I think of it, it's almost like he was able to be tempted but maybe he couldn't have succumbed to temptation since his divinity would act almost like a safeguard. Nevertheless, I think scripture makes he clear he did suffer from temptations.

Hebrews 2:17-18
17Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
18For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.

Hebrews 4:15
15For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

I believe in Satan and I still do good things for people. Why is it a Christian man more trust worthy than a man who believes in Satan. Please tell my why this is?
First of all you title is not compatible with your question. To answer your title, Satan wishes to see you desroyed and God wishes to see you live in sinless existence for eternity

Which is kind of like a "good" man releasing a rabid pit bull into the neighborhood, then "saving" people by encouraging them to run into his house for safety, isn't it?

How can you be tempted with something you've never had or experenced before?
You can't be tempted by something if you dont know what it is. Didn't the bible say that Jesus was perfect in every way? If so then he didnt know sin.

He did experience temptation which is what I'm trying to get it. He experienced it and yet didn't give into it which is why he was blameless and sinless in his life on Earth.

The idea of Satan is certainly a barbaric one, and not even well supported biblically - more a religious mythology that has grown over time.
