Your opinion is noted and rejected, when you can prove the spiritual then try attain,

It knows exactly what it defines, no god.
atheism rejected experience of huge number of people living now and for thousands of years before, ridiculous. I'd say that too many perception organs were damaged by pollutions. - spiritually cripplled...nothing to be proud of, imo.

why many people reject christianity?

Hello Syo, it could also be asked as to why does Christianity reject what is obviously from God in all other Faiths, by saying they are false?

is there a problem with the teachings and messages?

There is no error in Jesus the Christ and the gift that is the Word in the Bible.

the crucifixion of christ means nothing to them?

Why would a Christian perceive this is the case?

don't they like a religion based on love?

Love from the heart can only be shown in this world in Deeds and Actions. All people appreciate Love when it is shown in that way and not just in words.

many people want proof. but, if there was proof, ''believing'' would be an one-way street and faith would be pointless. if there was undeniable proof, how would we choose christ as our saviour?

The proof of Christ and God is everywhere. It is our Heart and Love that will find this. If we look we will find Christ in all of Gods Messengers and the Messages they have given from our One God.

That is a way to look at it.
I reject blood sacrifice.
Yes and have trained yourself to eat arcane foods in order to avoid it I suppose.
Do you suppose that one part of the communion of eating his flesh and drinking his blood might be a means of trying to justify this non-food ritual blood sacrifice?

I do like the part about his sacrifice being the last one for all time, supposedly. I'm all for ending blood sacrifice.

You have to believe in a concept of sin and that God is a being without rather than within. You also have to believe in free will rather than determinism. I believe in none of these, so Jesus' sacrifice would ultimately mean nothing to me. It is impossible to sin against God in my view because we are of God. The situation becomes a nonsensical argument that seems to reflect limited understanding rather than something to implement in my life.

Even the Bible states as much:

Psalms 82:36 (NABRE) - I declare: Gods though you be, offspring of the Most High all of you, 7 Yet like any mortal you shall die; like any prince you shall fall.”

As also reiterated in the New Testament:

John 10:34 (NABRE) - Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?

Christianity can't understand the message of their own books and keeps believing God to be something separate from themselves. It simply typifies the worst sin in my mind, that of ignorance.

it's not uncommon for poisonous snakes to dry bite. it varies among species

Dry bite - Wikipedia

Why, yes, that is so. The miracle cure could have been
of a non-venomous bite

But that is among the least of what is so unbelievable about the story. If it were true, it would not be so implausible.

I think the whole thing is a "fish" story.

Baha'u'llah has given thoughts on this matter;

'O SON OF BEING! Love Me, that I may love thee. If thou lovest Me not, My love can in no wise reach thee. Know this, O servant."

Baha'u'llah also gives us a thought when he wrote to the Christian Monks, that it is our choice, but if we do not take up the choice, God is Patience and will keep offering;

O CONCOURSE of monks! If ye choose to follow Me, I will make you heirs of My Kingdom; and if ye transgress against Me, I will, in My long-suffering, endure it patiently, and I, verily, am the Ever-Forgiving, the All-Merciful… Bethlehem is astir with the Breeze of God. We hear her voice saying: ‘O most generous Lord! Where is Thy great glory established? The sweet savours of Thy presence have quickened me, after I had melted in my separation from Thee. Praised be Thou in that Thou hast raised the veils, and come with power in evident glory.’ We called unto her from behind the Tabernacle of Majesty and Grandeur: ‘O Bethlehem! This Light hath risen in the orient, and travelled towards the occident, until it reached thee in the evening of its life. Tell Me then: Do the sons recognize the Father, and acknowledge Him, or do they deny Him, even as the people aforetime denied Him (Jesus)?’ Whereupon she cried out saying: ‘Thou art, in truth, the All-Knowing, the Best-Informed.’"

It is your heart that will find God as what we can know of God is Attributes and if our heart longs for attributes, we will find God within us
.

I expect that is why "god"(s) are so like projections of human beings.

It means no belief in gods: no hindu, no christian, no muslim, no pagan no gods at all

Christianity is not special. Atheism isnt crippled anymore than saying you "dislike" vanilla as opposed to someone who "likes" that flavor.

For athiesm to be crippled, theism needs to be crippled as well.

A-thiesm is just opposite of theism, nothing more.

Some of our theists do such such charming things about people they dont know, speak as they may of
their supposed experiences.

As i have said before, provide evidence of god and kill atheism at a stroke. Funny its never happened despite the billions of people over thousand's of years trying (and failing) to provide such evidence.

As for nothing to be proud of, take a look at the entries for Christian terrorism here
Religious terrorism - Wikipedia

And of course the hundred's of millions killed in the name of religion throughout history

And of course the abuse of children by christian church leaders and parents indoctrinating their futures

And of course the genocides, child murders, theft, rape, slavery and subjugation taught in the bible

Makes me proud to be atheist.

I heard that those things are not done by real Christians.

Still scratching my head to the connection. Can you explain how god is common sense and can be known by all without religious rescources and personal beliefs to rely on?
as I noted, it is not persons religious beliefs. God just exists, e.g., like a radio station emanating spiritual signals and everyone who may have a receiver can be connected.

it is not my business to persuade, if one has no intuition it is not very easy task.
sadly majority of Christian are spiritually immature (throughout centuries) to carry teachings of Christ.

Intuition is required for understanding god magic? Wow that explains all. What was that about reality of gods/spirits?

why many people reject christianity?
Perhaps because Christianity rejects them.
is there a problem with the teachings and messages?
Everyone will have particular teachings they dislike. The root problem, for me, is that western Christianity views God as a person with feelings and emotions, like a big toddler; who loves you if you do what it wants and hates you if you don't. You shall find salvation, if you just "believe" - seriously? Nobody can make themselves believe any more than you can make yourself love or respect someone you don't. You can 'fake' it though and there's a thought.
the crucifixion of christ means nothing to them?
I personally believe Jesus did exist (Josephus mentions him). The Romans thought he was a trouble maker - perhaps some Jews did too, so he was crucified. What that means to me is that he only had three years to preach, which is a great shame, as we only know the tip of the iceberg.
don't they like a religion based on love?
Nothing wrong with love but many legalistic Christians are manipulative and judgemental. Not much love there - too many strings attached.
many people want proof.
Sure, if you tell them that there is a super sentient being somewhere up there, they're going to expect you to produce evidence. The irony is, that some teachings in the Bible refute this notion; just that most Christians ignore those. Too abstract probably.
but, if there was proof, ''believing'' would be an one-way street and faith would be pointless. if there was undeniable proof, how would we choose christ as our saviour?
So basically you are saying that a Christian can never 'know' God and will always require belief and faith. This is odd, if you think about it. I don't "believe" there's a country called Spain, because I know there is; belief and faith are unnecessary when we know something exists. The problem is, the big Sky Man doesn't, so you're stuck with belief.

When someone starts talking about how they have special access to special / arcane knowledge because of some gift they have, well, its time to roll your eyes and
drop the conversation.

Same reason I reject dozens of other religions, they may have some good and some bad, but I don't have any reason to accept their claims.

why many people reject christianity? is there a problem with the teachings and messages?

The better question is why accept Christianity? It isn't evidenced, it doesn't make sense, and it doesn't make people better or smarter. Why bring that into one's life?

What does this religion have to offer somebody that is content in life? My needs are simple and already met.

the crucifixion of christ means nothing to them?

Why would it? It means about the same as the poisoning of Socrates and the burning of Bruno at the stake.

don't they like a religion based on love?

Christianity is not based on love. It is based on the submission and obedience that its god demands. You either obey and go to heaven, or rebel and go to hell. It's that simple.

What Christianity calls love is not what I call love. Where is the love in the above? Love desn't threaten.

many people want proof. but, if there was proof, ''believing'' would be an one-way street and faith would be pointless

Faith is already pointless, and a logical error.

if there was undeniable proof, how would we choose christ as our saviour?

The same way that we would choose a wife, car, job or restaurant if there were undeniable proof that it was a correct choice.

isn't the crucifixion a way to take all our pain, so that he can cure our pain? i hope it makes sense

No, it does not make sense Crucifixions are a way to inflict pain, not remove it.

I put one on ignore yesterday for that very same reason. Similar attitude to our friend above but much more copious in explaining his special knowledge and the evidence of "i believe"
