Why should I debate about God with you ?

Then you must have run across very willing and patient people.
It gets frustrating at times. Please note, I have never claimed that evolution "disproves God" but I have been accused of that countless times. I was still a very strong Christian and accepted evolution. Why I left the faith had very little to do with the failures of Genesis. A Christian should be able to see that Genesis still works as a collection of allegory and morality tales. Insisting that it has to be true is the fastest way to refute that particular version of God.

If a person wants to believe I will generally let them be as long as they apply their beliefs to themselves and fellow believers.

Because you're interested in the subject?
Because you enjoy debate?
Because you have some thoughts on the subject and you want to test them in a debate setting?
Obviously no one is under any obligation to debate anything with anyone else. But lots of people enjoy debating. Hence places like this.

There is no should or requirement to debate. So, you don't have to. I'd rather discuss motorcycles, motorcycle adventures and motorcycle parts these days anyway. Yanno? Stuff that actually matters and totally important (at least to me).

Like; something about God that stop you from believing in.
Ah ok. To me, from looking at what evidence there is of how Judaism/Christianity developed out of earlier ideas and beliefs, and how both religions have changed over time, it seems very clear that god and religion are both human creations. Something that preceded literature, philosophy and science, but with comparable aims.
