Why they passed you up for a staff spot

The staff has much more power than you think, they have all the buttons anyway.
It goes more like this, who will do the hard work without purging the whole lot of this Motley Crew we call a forum.

Seriously, being passed up for a spot on the staff shouldn't necessarily be interpreted as rejection: there have been times when we've wanted to hire a member but decided not to because we felt their contribution to the threads in the open forums were too valuable and we didn't want them to start posting less because they were busy with staff work.
