Yes, Christianity is quite boring. I mean you can't question your religious authorities and explore the information given to you to see if any of it is correct. And, then there is that sticking point that 'God' and 'Jesus' are mythological creatures. Never mind that you have all these ohh so not fun sins to worry about. And, then there is that awesome afterlife where you wait around until 'Jesus' comes and harvests your soul from your coffin after destroying the world... sounds like fun yes? It would probably be important if any of these clowns actually existed.

Beyond that you can't even do all the sexual positions you like... Gotta stay with that missionary.. Ohh and... you can't have sex UNLESS you are making babies, or use birth control; or be gay.. or.. Do you all just hate everyone or what? 'God's' love seems to be at the end of a whipping crop.
Well thankyou sweetheart. Let me see, not christian, don't believe in god, don't care much for sins, aftelife is what I wake up to in the mornin', woops I almost forgot the clowns that don't exist. I guess satan would fall into that category, well he does for me.
And really darlin' if you want a bit of the other, other than missionary, give us a hoy and I'll fix you up. Know what I mean?
And I've got to say.........mindmaster is hilarious.

I can kind of see a reason why...

I mean, if I had to choose between God or the Devil, if they either existed, and I couldn't choose to follow myself, I'd choose the Devil.

Who killed more people in the Bible? God.

Who doesn't care if you sin and have fun, better yet supports you to? Satan.

Who is more socially accepting? Satan.

Who sends you to Hell? God.

Etc.

Do you 'know' or believe?
well, I am of the belief that most of the OT is allegory and metaphor only so many of these acts can be explained away.

ie: don't behave badly otherwise you will have to pay.
I don't care if it IS intended to be taken metaphorically, any way you spin it - twas downright 'evil' (i dont believe in evil), how is telling your followers to go commit genocide against a people for someone done hundreds of years earlier supposed to impart some allegorical truth other than people are stupid and the one giving orders is vile.

all totally wrong

Who killed more people in the Bible?

God was protecting his children and gave them centuries to tune to him , those people were sacrificing there children to gods -they deserved to me destoryed

fun - what is fun - to some people its rape murder and theft - waht do you call fun ?

social acceptable - wow thats pretty weak point - but i would say theGod that heals people and provides for there needs

No we Go to hell becasue God is pure and holy and cant have anything to with sin , if you are not born of the kingdom of heaven God cant habe you in heaven - bible says he wants everyone to be with if

wow you know very little - well done 0/5 great score

There are a million questions here... but, they're all easy...

1) Satanists do not worship anything like Christians do, nor do they believe anything in the bible. Most are completely Atheist -- Satan is symbolic, etc. Some believe in Satan as a God, and some don't. Neither worship! Any worshiping puts you in the Christianity line even if it is reverse worship. (You need to believe in the Hebrew God to offend him.) If they believe in Satan generally they have a direct experience of that fact due to the mystical practices they subject themselves to -- it is not belief oriented like a traditional religion and most of the theistic Satanists whom believe in Satan were Atheists at some point. In either case, Satan's name is used because it is the colloquial term that the normal every day person may recognize. Most religions have been named by their enemies -- funny enough... Beyond that we're focused on self-expression, rational thinking, hedonism (humans natural state), and individuality. Sounds like a horrible religion in in either case doesn't it? :p

2) The bible took a Sumerian God Enki, who was also the Babylonian god EA and decided to make THAT God their enemy with a new title. Makes sense considering the Hebrews were getting their teeth kicked in for hundreds of years by their neighbors. (Hebrews were their neighbors pets for quite some time aka slaves.) The Egyptian God Set seems to be the same guy as well -- all of these existed long before the bible even existed. A lot of demons recognized by Christians and others are simply Gods of other cultures or from way back in history. Technically, Satan existed first... :)

3) _The Satanic Bible_ is hardly definitive and factually it's about 50% plagiarized from other works. LaVey at least admitted that his magic system was more symbolic and psycho-dramatic than real. (Nietzsche, John Dee, Ayn Rand, Ragnar Redbeard, and others) It delineates most of the Atheist perspective of Satanism, but only half of Satanists are Atheists. There really aren't any books by the "Devil Believing" folks mostly because of the misconceptions of the public and media. Its a much more internal religion and really doesn't need to be public anyway.

well i dont think thats true ......thats waht satan wants you to think that he does not exists

Most Satanists don't see Satan as a literal being. Rather, they see Satan as representative of a concept or an idea. Perhaps, rebellion, independence, or wisdom.

As for Theistic Satanists, I doubt they view Satan the same way that you do.

as you can clearly see satan first appeared in teh bible and is directly from it - you refuse to belive as that means you would also have to belive in God

The downward-pointing pentagram is often used to represent Satanism.
Satanism is a group of religions composed of a diverse number of ideological and philosophical beliefs and social phenomena. Their shared features include symbolic association with, admiration for the character of, and even veneration of Satan or similar rebellious, promethean, and liberating figures.
Satan, also called Lucifer by many Christians, first appears in the Books of Chronicles provoking David to take a census of Israel. In the Book of Job he is called הַשָּׂטָ֤ן Ha-Satan, meaning ‘the opposer’[1], and acted as the prosecutor in God’s court. A character named Satan was described as the tempter of Jesus in many of the Gospels of early Christians.

Because christianity (and thus the christian institutions) are dominant where the movement originated

can you provide a source of the mention of Lucifer or satan other than the bible

below seems to say the idea or concept of satan was first mentioned in the bible- are you saying the statment below in bold is incorrect

Do you 'know' or believe?
I dont understand - I have never suggested it did not have origins in the Abrahamic tradition, in fact I strongly implied just the opposite.
