People focus their attention on the wrong people. They take the easy way out and blame an entire group of people, rather than focusing on the radicals or fanatics that pervert the religion. They keep seeing the same thing over and over and they come to the conclusion that over a billion responsible are exactly the same and can't be trusted.

Just because they get the majority of the attention, does not mean they are the majority or represent the majority. The radicals are dangerous but there are people that are so much more powerful and dangerous than anything these radicals have.

Lots of countries have capital punishment. Beheading is quicker and less painful than some of the more familiar, western methods.

I don't like the finality of capital punishment.
Is death by sword any worse than lethal injection, firing squad or electrocution?
It's bloodier, but it also doesn't sanitize executing the person.
There's something to be said for not pretending it's non-violent.

You're jumping to conclusions. I don't approve of capital punishment, period. In fact, I'm skeptical about the whole concept of retributive justice.

I've been to the execution square in SA ( it's near a historical place) it looks nothing like this. They can't execute anyone without a trial, there have to be witnesses, this process can take years.

I can understand that people don't agree with death penalty or the Saudi legal system. It would be good to have a serious and honest discussion but I see that wasn't the aim of this thread.

I get muslims that tell me their religion is the "religion of peace".
I do know that muslims will kill those who are in a different religion. The only 2 ways to survive is if you pay them to be able keep following the religion you are in or to becomes a muslim.
