Shri Vallabh Nidhi UK - Welcome to Shri Vallabh Nidhi UK | Hindu Temple | London | Wembley | Leytonstone | Shri Sanatan Mandir
That's unfortunate for you^ Shivji is very powerful
lol ... of course, but not for me. The other forms of Siva, as with Murugan, are almost unheard of in the North. But it's all good.
I could say that the fact you have never been to a Murugan temple is really unfortunate for you, what good would that do?
When I think of Siva, I just see Nataraja, or Lingam. Maybe Dakshinamurthy. Always in granite, never marble. It is plain and simple. Each individual finds comfort in the familiarity.
Well what if I told you that you were wrong and that I have been to many Murugan temples.
jai jai , ...and one for the vaisnavas :namaste
Oh... Ratikala ji.. may I know who this is...? It is such a lovely, lovely picture, I wonder if it is Swami Vedanta Desika?
EDIT: I just noticed the saint has swami in his lap, as if petting a baby.. can't be Sri Vedanta Desika as I've never seen him in this pose, wonder who it is...
