Well, lets wait and see! Only time will tell whether this bill (Medical bill just passed) will do as some of you hope it does.

There is however, an example of self-righteousness in the bible which, for some of you, bleeding hearts, would like for the rest of us to bleed as well, according to what you believe to be the right thing to do.

Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

If giving can not be a motivation of the heart, then forced giving is hypocrisy.

Jesus, demonstrated complete free will!

If He were here today, which He is, in many peoples hearts, the will to give freely is what He would speak about.

Now, if we are to separate church and state, then we can not bring Jesus into the mix as though Jesus who were the head of state, bringing accusations against His followers for not meeting the hypocritical demands in forced giving as many of you desire to promote.(Innocently of course)

It is easy to accuse the Christians in general, against those things we some believe to be the right thing to do, though they themselves would not do it willingly and without fanfare.

Listen, if you want to give out of the depths of your heart, is there a need to broadcast it?

If the government, a separate entity from God, makes its own rules and laws, can either pass or reject any bill they so desire, whether it be forcing everybody to give or not. (Sharing the wealth)

If the government is a representative government, then the people rule, but if not, then the elite few force their ideologies on the rest of the people.

If God is who you want to set your standards by, then give an offering, of your blessings, as your heart leads you to.

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

"And": denotes, do it as love motivates you.

Joh 13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

Joh 13:28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

You suppose if Jesus were here today, that that same verse above would apply?

Blessings, AJ
