Actually the Dwarves were overweight in Dragon Age I think.

They were. In dragon age 2 they tried to show different body types in the game. Which now that I look at it I am more of a dwarf than a Qunari(CRAP) lol:D

I still haven't played Dragon Age. Mass Effect I've played an embarrassing amount with no end in sight. My story isn't perfect yet :p

While I don't think 'dating' proper is exactly my thing, it is entirely possible that I could find myself physically attracted to an overweight friend. An individual is a total package. You can't simply reduce a person to 'this' or 'that'. I guess you can if it's someone you don't really know, but not a good friend who you have come to know with some degree of personal intimacy. Compatable relational desires are of far greater importance. Then there are no expectations that will ruin the friendship- which is of higher importance to me.

Those dwarves are mostly muscle. They would have high BMI's but much of it is healthy weight. The male probably has a bit too much fat on the midsection which is correlated with heart problems and could trim that down a bit to be optimal, while the female looks quite healthy as she is, imo.

Frankly speaking, I wouldn't even consider dating someone who was overweight... Go ahead, call me prejudiced. (I have broad, manly, shoulders... )

I voted yes.

I've been attracted to overweight women before. I'm more attracted to people i perceive to be fit and thin or leaning to thinness, but that doesn't mean i can't or don't get attracted to anybody overweight.

It depends on how well it fits them generally. If they're still somewhat capable physically and generally look good, then it'd be of little concern to begin with. If it's affecting their appearance considerably, as well as their fitness, it'd be a problem but not something i can't work with.

IOW, while i prefer certain body types, i wouldn't go as far as saying no in general to the idea of ever dating an overweight person. Weight can be gained and lost, and not all kinds of being overweight is necessarily a problem in the first place.
