WOW! Chrstians are not the only people in the world!

Yes diffenitly the weak the poor the sick the persecuted the hungry the homeless the uneducated the sinful those with little worth to the world all has favor in Christs eyes for He to was persecuted he to was lowly. While those of high reguard rode upon the stallion Christ rode into Jerusalum to meet his persecutors upon the back of a lowly ***. It is True my master and Lord Loves the uneducated and those with no sense of religon the homeless and those without hope. For the lowly of the world His arms raise us up and delivers us to a peace and Love unspeakable

Er no. They dont pick the intelligent ons to convert sicne they know it is their best interests not to convert... So you pick the helpless ones. They offer, christian and help, or no christian and die in your hole.

Its not racist... Its true. A few countries in the east do not have many facilities for education, so education means you may be intelligent, but i cannot be used if there is no education... SO err..NO! I won't stop because its annoying how Christians have gone around and killed MILLIONS in the past and when a few 100 die the world sees it as pure disgusting. When the Hindus or other people were being killed no-one really cared.

Racist? Dont get too emotional.
Why would I get emotional? I'm not Chinese. And YES, you are being racist. You are generalizing the intelligence of ENTIRE COUNTRIES. Please tell me how that is not racist?

While I understand your argument that Christians have persecuted other religions in the past. The fact is that today they simply don't.

That may be happening, but look at your history in just Goa for example. That is just a lot of bottled up anger over many generations, they ar eletting it out, although its sad.
It is not the greatest. The muslims killing the hindus own nation is bad. Christians have klled the most! Ever heard of the Goan inquistion? That was Christian, that was set up by Vasco da Gama, what India needs is another Maharana Paratap or Shivaji.

It is True that within all religions their are and have been men of evil. The questian we all need to ask is what religions promote such evil behaviour and which religions premote Love and peace. As a christian i can find no teaching of persecution of people the teachings i follow teach Love God and Love all people this encludes my enimies. I can not speak for the other religions with the exception of islam which i have studied and found they do teach violence upon non believers. We must remember there is no doubt evil people found within all religions what we need to seek and have understanding to is what religions promote evil behaviour through their teachings. i am here to learn and i have an open mind. Ok, let me post some delightful quotes :D

(ii) Dont kill non-believers, but torture them

124. 5. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

(i) Torture non-believers, but dont hurt trees

It seems you are getting emotional. How would i know, im no physic.

I am not generalising entire countries, and if i did, i do apolagise. But the fact remains that missionaries pick on the poor, stupid ones for their numbers to go up.

Well that WAS the case. Back in the 1900's Chinese who converted to Christianity because of their own poverty were called "Rice Christians". You can't build a community on rice Christians.

Is that the case now, in China? I don't think so. I think the Chinese are quite capable of standing up for their own best interests.

Thanks Scott,

That supports my arguement.

See sunstone, there are debates already.

That's true, but you can't blame all Christians for the way some of them behave. The bad ones give the other 10% a bad name. ;)

did you miss the part above that in Rev.9:2-3 where it states this violence towards mankind is done by Locusts out of a bottomless pit. It has nothing to do with Christians attacking anyone. But a plage upon all mankind. There is NO where within the Gosp[el f Jesus christ that promotes violence towards another human being from a Deciple of Christ. We are taught to Love everyone even our enimies.

No, it does not. You are ignoring the last sentence of my statement. Don't take me out of context, please.

Well i did say that Christians can't convert the rich and intelligent since Christianity cannot support them. They can support themselves. I cant live with these poor converts who say Christ has bridged a gap in my life to heaven...

Christians have killed other religions and other religions have killed Christians. I have heard of Hindus burning down Churches and Christians damning everyone to hell. I have to tell you, I don't care for that kind of thing. Religious people should try to get along with each other.
You may find out later that you worship the same God (whether it is or not, I couldn't tell you).

What about converts who convert for publicity?

Read "Quiet Strength" by Tony Dungy. Tony, in his playing days, gives accounts of many great christians that were behind the scenes playing professional football. These players have it all... fame, celebrity, money. They have every reason to not give a rip about religion, but that is not how it works. Christ ministered to the poor and downtrodden. It is much easier to see the need for God when you are persecuted and in the lowliest of human position. The more that you have, the more likely you are to be of the world and thus, the harder it is to see God. Nonetheless, there are plenty who have. Of course, you wouldn't know this, because your only access to the lives of these individuals are what the media decides to let you see.

No offense here, but you do not have the life experience to be making such bold claims about countries that you've probably never even been to. Your picture has been painted by the media and possibly other second-hand knowledge (not that mine is any better, but I have enough experience to know that my picture is tainted and that all humans are generally equal in intelligence). Trust me, there is a wealth of very intelligent Asian people who convert to Christianity every day. Go to any college and you will see a huge population of Asian peoples in the advanced fields of academia. Some of the classes I had consisted of literally 90%+ Asians. I would love to know why you think that Christian missionaries target the dumb people.

It is an easy observation to make (when examining some of the greatest minds in history) that intelligence and religious preference show no correlation. What you have here is someone else's argument that you heard once and believed, because it agrees with your own. It is not based on evidence.
