Jesus in me
I'm currently taking a close look at Christianity, Buddhism and Taoism. I think it'll be a while before I know what I really make of them.

I beleive I would like to see you post a comparison of the three as you see it so far. It would be sad if you based your assessment on a misconception of one or the other.

I'm a Druid. I am a polytheist worshipping many Celtic deities but really focus on the Irish deities. I'm also an animist, believing everything that you see has a spiritual essence. I am open minded enough to recognize other deities such as Yahweh, Jesus, Vishnu Demeter and many other deities as I think almost all deities exist and can be contacted. The Irish deities is the one I closely relate to. One can contact them through the mind, through visions and through dreams.

I believe in multiple afterlives and the Otherworld, but also reincarnation I believe when one is good enough, they can have more access to other realms of the Otherworld, have an easier time visiting mortals ect. When one accumulates too much negative energy doing bad stuff, it takes longer for them to visit other mortals, they end up suffering not through torture but because of their own misdeeds, but end up getting reincarnated when they realize the error of their ways and would reincarnate but would start lower on the totem pole depending on the kind of crime they committed.

I believe everything has a cycle, even the afterlife, as that we can reincarnate when it's time, to. I also believe that once we do, we keep some of our personality traits with us when we reincarnate. And that the bad side of us is with us as well as the good. The bad sides meaning that if in the past life, we were overall good, but had certain character flaws like anger and greed, and I believe that comes with us when we reincarnate. We inherent some of those character flaws so we have a chance to overcome those flaws and advance spiritually. I don't really believe anything was really created or gets destroyed as energy gets transferred and forms into something else. Such as when a planet is destroyed, a new one takes it's place. Everything is basically recycled.

I believe having an animistic attitude towards things is important for spiritual advancement as it teaches us to respect all those around us. The humans, animals, plants inanimate objects ect, so we can better take care of our environment and those in it. Nature is something I like to contact and many spirits inhabit nature. I like to talk to tree spirits. :)

I believe in magic and practice plant magic mostly. I use mostly defensive, healing and blessing magic as well as plant magic. I believe that we all live in what we radiate. If we focus primarily on doing good and healing others, good fortune and healing will return to us. But if one is unethical and immoral and uses magic for personal gain or uses it to curse someone, their environment also becomes a source of pain and misfortune. We reap what we sow and we all live in what we radiate. I believe magic is energy one can work with, not dominate. I believe one should use magic for the benefit for others and helping them, not using energy for personal gain at other people's expense, or to conquer others. One should be responsible with such forces and use it to help others.

That's what I believe.

We're not all crazy. I'm crazy and medicated.

I connected to the 'Viking' Gods or the Æsir & Vanir Norse and Germanic Gods.

It was a spiritual experience where they sort of welcomed me to learn about them when I was studying various beliefs trying to figure things out..

Everything about Norse Paganism feels right to me and I connect to it spiritually and mentally.

It makes me happy to see the faith flourishing and no one's been kill yet.

There are also phenominal atheltes representing the Old Gods.

These amazing athletes are representing the Viking Gods and have no qualms about it. They're out there being champions and doing more than I can do by merely mentioning their legends. This is their legacy.

I also believe some clans have roots into the old pantheons. It's something that was nearly eradicated through the ages of Catholicism. Many clans were annihilated or went into hiding. Now they're beginning to come into the light again this age.

The English did try and kill off many clans. Particularly King Henry the 3rd to my knowledge, he wanted to kill off all royal blood lines. Other than that it's been various parties trying to kill off any clan linked to the Pagan era.

Another futile post.

Cheers.

... the gods never had that much power. ... the gods never had much consideration for twerps like us.

Methinks you need to take another look at the Lore.

The Gods may not be omnipotent, but they've got plenty of power over their own domains. Many of them also are our good friends. Thunor/Thor has always been described as the Friend of Humanity. He's what modern slang might call a "bro". Sure, there's plenty of Gods who don't care about us, or actively hinder us, but not all are like that.

I also wouldn't describe Sun or Earth as "dead".

I'm a neo-atheist, which is an atheist with anti-religious leanings as well as a relatively strong belief that no god exists.

Jesus in me
Do you know how many people here you just offended and insulted? Jesus would be proud.

I believe I have no idea what offends people. A person calls me crazy and I am not offended but I suppose I would be if I were actually crazy. So perhaps that is it, that one wants to cherish a belief and the truth becomes inconvenient to that end.

I am sure you can read what he said to the Pharisees.
