You're in heaven....now what?

what is that supposed to mean?
how could you possibly know about another realm. you are right, nothing is permanent...get used to it.

Well, the OP proposed that we are born in heaven (after death), suggests that there are other realms other than that of earth. If not, than the question is redundant.

So, logically, if one is born into heaven to enjoy the bliss, after that death in heaven (nothing is permanent), one may be reborn again in earth or other realms.

Then, of course, there is the animal realm, and ghost realm if you don't already know them.

So now you've made it. You're with your god and family and friends. Since you're a soul you don't need to eat or drink, and there aren't any material things in heaven (since jesus didn't think it was necessary) and all the "bad" people are not around. Now what? Do you just praise god and kneel and say prayers all day for the rest of eternity? Get kinda boring wouldn't ya think?

maybe you didn't get the gist of the OP...it was for the sake of argument.
that and how the idea of heaven is not rational thinking...
besides how would you feel if some of your loved ones didn't make it would you be aware of it or would you be lost in self...

Sorry by OK, if it is only for argument sake, then I abstain because my view points will not agree with everybody here when this is a forum for all religions.

Sweetvoice,

First, welcome to RF :)

Second, may I ask what religion you are, if any? And, if a mix or you take as you please, which do you take most inspiration from?

Thank you for the welcome. I am learning about religion always. I would consider myself a Buddhist (if that is taken to be a religion), unless other religions can prove themselves more appropriate than Buddhism.

Thought as much, and I guess it depends what you believe.
But yes, Buddhism is a religion. :)

No eating or drinking?

That's horrible!

I love my pasta and pizza, :pizza: my mini spring rolls or stirred fried noodle with sizzling prawns, and my rogan josh.:eat: I also love my hot chocolate. CHOCOLATE???!!! What is life without chocolate? :cover:

Food and drinks are simple pleasures that I like.

If heaven don't have any of these, then afterlife in heaven would become my hell. :(
