Your claims are empty.
You flat out said so when you stated that you do not "explain" god.

Your flat out lie about not having "no explanation" for the universe is most revealing.
There are actually numerous explanations for the universe.
Many of which you have complained about right here in this very thread.
You not liking them does not make them magically disappear.
You have not given any explanation, that is science.

That's so incredibly naive. Especially with what we know now. Gradualism was abandoned a long time ago in case you didn't know.

And 50,000 years is the blink of an eye in geological terms. Even Gould, the inventor of Punctuated Equilibrium, only expected large scale changes to happen over periods of time exceeding this.

The theory keeps changing because it doesn't actually work with the evidence.

Except that it does. The theory changes in minor details, like the theory of gravity does. The broader descriptions don't change because they are supported by all the evidence.

The main questions today about evolution are those of mechanisms and relative importance of different mechanisms. We *know* that species change over geological time, so the issue is no longer whether evolution happens. It does.

So you never look at the big picture and ask why everything exists instead of nothing?

Sure. And I also realize there can be no answer to that because any answer to 'why' would rely on something else existing.

Even your 'explanation' fails to address this question. You must assume a deity that has no explanation for its existence.

At that point, it is easier to just note that the universe is visible and exists. Maybe it 'just exists' with no other explanation.

No, go read the first verse of the Bible...
Were you not just lying, I mean complaining, ad nauseum about no one explaining the universe for you?

And now you are doing the very thing you spent so much time complaining about....

Your double standards are most entertaining.

I have no idea what you are going on about. What do you want to know? It's all there in Genesis.

And just as many interpretations of it as there are people...

Now if you are not going to offer up any explanations and reduce yourself to the level you accuse others of....

So much for your supposed higher ground, eh?
