The Holy Spirit

But did they know Psalm 14:1? If they did, then their foolishness is compounded.

Atheism is not a claim there is no deity, so you don't even seem to understand what atheism means. The idea of a verse in the bible claiming anyone who doesn't believe in a deity is a fool, is pretty ironic as well. If the Harry Potter books claimed it was foolish not to believe in wizardry, would that make wizardry real?

God does not create evil people. He creates people with the potential to do good, or evil. This is what is called 'freewill'.

"But the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh; and he did not heed them, just as the LORD had spoken to Moses."
Exodus 9:12

Ahem!!

God is said to be 'Holy' and 'Spirit'. Is God, therefore, THE Holy Spirit?

Clearly, 'the Holy Spirit' means different things to different faiths. I recently read an article saying that, for Muslims, the Holy Spirit is a reference to the angel Gabriel. Is this accurate?

To a 'trinitarian' Christian, the Holy Spirit is the Father dwelling in his Church.

What do you understand the Holy Spirit to be? Is it a 'person', or a force?

It seems to me that the Holy Spirit receives little air-time on RFs. Time to address this shortcoming.

Tell me what you think.
I think that the Holy Spirit means righteousness. Righteousness is the way to everlasting peace. It's all about understanding. If everybody will live their lives UNDER all of everything there will be peace and whatever GOD Almighty has in store for us. AMEN

I believe God is like the Sun and the Light that emanates from the Sun is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Bounty of God. God sent the Holy Spirit to Jesus to strengthen Him. I do not believe the Holy Spirit lives inside of individuals. Descent and ascent are characteristics of bodies, not spirits. The Holy Spirit does not enter bodies but rather has a direct connection and influence upon the body through the instrumentality of the soul.

Question.—What is the Holy Spirit?

Answer.—The Holy Spirit is the Bounty of God and the luminous rays which emanate from the Manifestations; for the focus of the rays of the Sun of Reality was Christ, and from this glorious focus, which is the Reality of Christ, the Bounty of God reflected upon the other mirrors which were the reality of the Apostles. The descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles signifies that the glorious divine bounties reflected and appeared in their reality. Moreover, entrance and exit, descent and ascent, are characteristics of bodies and not of spirits—that is to say, sensible realities enter and come forth, but intellectual subtleties and mental realities, such as intelligence, love, knowledge, imagination and thought, do not enter, nor come forth, nor descend, but rather they have direct connection.”

I think that according to the Jehovah's Witnesses, The Holy Spirit is just one part of God.

This is my take on it: God IS. The Holy Spirit is God showing us that God is.

Kindly quote from Jesus to substantiate one's point, please. Right?

Maybe you dont like it. But the survey was done in the U.S. And it was about biblical knowledge. You may know better than others but that is not relevant to a survey.

Arguing that atheists are "foolish" with me is irrelevant. I am only stating facts.

Jesus did not write anything that has reached us intact, so Jesus did not set a challenge, please. Right?
If yes, then please quote from Jesus. Right?

Regards
The challenge comes from Jesus' words, faithfully recorded in prophecy.

To witness to oneself is false prophecy.
