  • So today, this happened.

After a shower clothing this morning, I got distracted by something, so instead of combing my hair, I just pushed all my wet tangled hair back, thinking I'd come back to it. I ended up forgetting, didn't do another mirror check, and left for work. It was a windy day, which blew my wet tangled hair around, making it fall all over the place, but I tucked it behind my ears a few times as best I could, not really thinking about it or realizing the problem.

I pull up to the security gate at work, and the guard looks at me like o_O but then hesitantly lets me pass because I had the proper ID (but I looked like a crazy woman). His look was confusing, but I shrugged it off. Then I got to my desk and was intercepted by my friend, who also looked at me like o_O. So I just pretended like I was too busy to talk, and went to the restroom and looked in the mirror and was like, "OMG!! What the hell!:facepalm:"

    That's how my morning started.

    How was yours?
I did some painting last night. It came out well. Much better than if you yourself had done it. That's why we have our division of labor -- I paint, and you complaint.
I know its not your fault Badran, You are just doing your duties I guess. But I have freedom of religion--not from men killing one another( that is stupidity) I get mine from God--it will never be stopped while I am alive. No matter what men say or rules they try to instill.
There is 0 sense in having a religious sight that refuses to let truth be posted.
Not only does science say so, as a matter of fact science called me on the phone the other day...and I was like, "Science, I'm in the middle of something. Can you make it quick, or would it be better for me to call you back?"

Then, science started going on and on about something and I just had to say, "Science, you're being pretty inconsiderate of my time right now with all those details."

    I think I hurt science's feelings.
I did look it up. What do you think I am, some sort of make it up as you go along kind of person, or something?

It said that getting all choked up is "a condition of extreme emotional response to the very thought of 4consideration and/or the contemplation of having a conversation with her, or being in her presence" -- or something like that. :D
Some things have changed. I have come to think very much within the Greek tradition of philosophy. Instead of having a liberal ethics, I have come to embrace a eudaimonsitic-perfectionism, and moved away from the Kantian tradition. My politics have become quite radical. While I used to be a moderate social democrat, I have become a Communist. Much inspiration came from Christian Anarchism and this idea of a Kingdom of Heaven. In some ways my views on sexuality have become more "conservative", though I rather do not like that word. I am still staunchly pro-LGBTQ, but I am less accepting of casual sex and think about sex in terms of human relational ontology and the ontology of love.
I have had the opposite experience. I became a Roman Catholic and a panentheist. I lost my faith in metaphysical naturalism. Though, my idea of God is a lot less personal than most people's conceptions.
