Sorry folks, I haven't been online much recently.
Like my original post said, it's not actually Reiki as that's done with symbols etc. but IMO it's all the same thing, just different methods of application.
I came across what I do totally by accident (no training what-so-ever) & after checking...
LOL I actually feel quite liberated when someone understands the context that such a label holds, although after time & if truly understood, comfort inverts and you don't know what to name 'it'. lol
Ok folks. If you are a practicing healer I ask for your help. I have recently been asked by a friend to 'teach' her how to send healing energy.
A bit of background info on myself:
I was totally skeptic of all spirituality growing up. My Mother used to visit Spiritualist churches etc and I...
I've noticed many similar attitudes. 'God' seems a fitting name for the entity you (me) are trying to explain although some people have preconceived ideas on what 'God' is, which is only natural, but thinking they are in parallel with your ideas can become surprisingly difficult to explain...
Bravo :clap I live momentarily like this but I'm personally having problems sustaining the commitment. :o Regarding the post about knowledge earlier, if such knowledge is applied, then it becomes Wisdom. I am not a Wise person. I have knowledge but I'm not wise. IMO lol <<<< arrogant??? :help:
I understand your stance & apologies if it offended. This is not a debate to be had in this thread with such differing beliefs, if what we consider divine truth to be; on one hand an all encompassing mass of consciousness (what I consider 'God') & on the other hand; many dedicated 'Gods' that...
While I understand what you're saying, that is not what my comment was in response to. The comment was that 'God' made Laws. The creation of the Laws themselves are what creates sin, since sin is the breaking of such laws. Since we all live in the relative world, actual views on what sinning is...
Great stuff here! I'm going to add something somewhat boring to what's been previously posted.
I have never been one to try and 'pigeon hole' myself since it could/would limit where my views might go. Plus I'm still getting to grips with all the religious labels as it is (I've only really been...
Stating 'God' created law instantly implies there is the means to break them, which is inbuilt into his creation. Thus in effect 'God' did create sin and it was merely man that exercised the ability to break it.
I agree that 'God' has no needs, thus no commands are necessary.
What I meant was...
Thanks for the welcome, it does seem like there are many views I agree with here. A very alien feeling to me as usually nobody has half a clue what I'm talking about. That said, where is the Mystic section?? This forum is HUUUUGE and and I've only just figured out how to find my previous posts...
LOL This is getting a reoccurring theme where I am going to post what's already been posted. At least I can appreciate not having to put my mindclutter into sentences.
LOL Looks like we do hold similar beliefs after all!
I'd like to add that if you find the 'God' you currently hold with such a high regard commands you to do something out with you're comfort zone then you should use you're brain and figure out that it's not really you're 'God' after all. Back...
I am not one for structured religion but believe in messengers of 'God' such as the Swami, Sathya Sai Baba.
Not to take anything away from him but Jesus The Christ is just another example of a human being existing with knowledge of the Universal Laws and how to make use of them without exploitation.
err...ok I'll do my best.
It's when a spirit has passed and has become 'stuck' within realms. Spirit side cannot communicate with them as much as they can communicate with the majority of people. Usually we are conditioned to ignore the likes...... (imagine how that feels from the other side)...
This is my first post outwith my introduction but it's already one close to my heart.
IMO there is no fear regarding 'God'. If there is fear then there is no faith. Simple really.
I feel faith is the act of putting ones well being into the hands of another without doubt of harm. If one even...
Hi people!
I joined a while back but didn't really follow things up (a big problem of mine). I've been into spiritualism for a good few years now and have many views, not all are agree'able (is that how you spell it?!?!?). Either way, I've been advised to get in touch with like minded people in...
