Depends on your definition of true religion. I would personally call every religion a true religion because I don't believe I have the authority to judge.
This is essentially Baha'i theology. We can experience God through his manifestations but we can never know the essence of God because he is incomprehensible
The Baha'i actually encourage their children not to declare a faith until they are at least 15. Once they are 15 they are encouraged to investigate for themselves what truth is.

The Baha'i believe there is only one religion and that anyone who has religious faith is part of that religion. It is the same religion that has always existed and will always exist.
The identity of God? I'm new here so i m not sure I understand the question but bahais believe the essence of God is incomprehensible and that we can only know his qualities through the manifestations that he sends e.g. Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, The Bab, Bahaullah
The Baha'i believe that the purpose of religion is to bring joy to humanity. I may seem like a diamond now but our goal is that someday everyone in the whole world can experience the joy that we have :). This is why I have faith in the future of humanity.
If you didn't, I would be doing something gravely wrong. Our utmost ideal is the unity of humanity. If our actions cause divisiveness with our fellow humans then by our own definition they are wrong.
