    Question for theists about hell

The Baha'i believe that Bahaullah did not get his revelation from the Bible but from God himself

I don't like the term seeker

Bahais believe that Bahaullah was a manifestation of God. Meaning he had a direct line to God himself. Bahaullah says that Buddha is also a manifestation. Which means for us that God himself says Buddha is a manifestation. I understand you don't accept/believe this but it isn't personal. Our...

I don't like the term seeker

When it comes to the manifestations, I just have faith that Bahaullah knew what he was talking about. I understand that a large number of Buddhists are atheists and that logically opposes the view that Buddha was a manifestation of God. I think the best we can do as bahais is find points of...

    Confused With My Own Beliefs

The risk is that one will miss a great opportunity to grow their spiritual capacity. We don't try to get people to convert by scaring them with hell. People who convert are people who recognize Bahaullah as the manifestation of God in this age and are excited to follow him and bring about his...

I don't like the term seeker

I'm not asking anyone to accept the covenant of Bahaullah since that is a very personal matter. I'm merely explaining the views of my faith since most people probably don't know what it is :)

I don't like the term seeker

The Baha'i don't claim to encompass any religion. We do claim however that there is only one religion. Any attempt to make a separate religion is really a failure to understand the true essence of religion. The Baha'i see their "religion" not so much as a separate religion but as a covenant...

I don't like the term seeker

He was wrong. All who believe in God are part of his religion. Some bahais get confused and think that because we don't acknowledge Joseph Smith as a manifestation that Mormons don't belong to the religion of God. This is divisive and untrue.

It's not so much we believe that all religions are true as much as we believe there is only one religion. We believe that if you believe in God then you belong to his religion. The religion that always was and always will be. The Baha'i faith is really just a covenant that falls inside the...

For people who come here looking. If you believe in God then the Baha'i believe you already belong to the only true religion. If you want to deepen your understanding though you can learn about the manifestation of Bahaullah https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bah%C3%A1%27%C3%AD_Faith

    Confused With My Own Beliefs

I can only speak for myself. But I believe that Bahaullah has brought forth a new revelation of God that better elucidates the future of humanity. I believe that if I follow Bahaullah then not only will there be more joy in my life personally but I will be helping humanity as a whole progress...

    Confused With My Own Beliefs

The religion of God. Bahai isn't a religion as much as it is a collection of people who belong to the one eternal religion of God who are under the covenant of Bahaullah. Everyone else who claims to believe in God is part of the same exact religion they just haven't entered into the covenant.

The religion of God. The religion that has always existed and will always exist.

    Question for theists about hell

Ah. In Baha'i we believe everyone is free from death because the soul is eternal. We still progress in the next life but I'm not sure if that means we believe sin exists in the next life. I'll have to ask some other bahais about that.

    Confused With My Own Beliefs

The Baha'i believe that there is only one religion and one God. Anyone who believes in God belongs to the religion.

Have you ever heard of the Baha'i faith? You can just wiki it or I can tell you more if interested. We essentially believe in the unity of all religions and the unity of mankind as one global family.
