    Yes, I think it will be worth watching. As a teacher, I completely disagree with faith schools, particularly when it comes to them teaching science. I think I may have to take a sedative before watching. I have a tendency to shout at the TV during these sorts of programmes...

    I've been to Iceland a few times, where Asatru is gaining strength. Have you been to any areas where the Nordic gods are strong? I'm an atheist, but am very interested in nature-based deities and how people translate that into their lives.

    That changes the context of the word 'fear'. Interestingly, christians that I have spoken to see it very much as a literal fear (as we would interpret the word) i.e. they are afraid of what their god will do if they 'step out of line'. "Extreme reverence or awe" seems much more benign. Thanks...
