Ahem,
i know what you wrote after this "intro". Just thought i wanted to emphasize it again ;)
Of course it doesnt work. Stupid me. You see THATS EXACTLY the reason why earth is going to crash with jupiter ...very soon..... isnt it ?
A dogma is a dogma.
Of course this is regarless of whether it contains the word ability or any other word.
By merely starting with "a dogma" you rule out anything else. Its a dogma by definition so to speak.
However, your original claim/sentence was "Science IS THE ABILITY.....".
No dogma here...
No you can't.
Your logic is as miserable as ever in this thread.
If I were you I would ask myself the question on why this example of the teapot is actually used throughout the atheistic community to show the impossibility of disprooving things and the need for a burdon of proof on the side of...
I do not know which 613 commandmends you are referring to.
But as for your examples i see no sense in claiming that it carries ANY morality in it (be it good or evil) to celebrate Shabbat. Nor do i think it is a moral question whether one studies Torah or not.
And definetly i do not see it as...
Some questions come to my mind. Here is the most spontaneous one. Name me some part of morality that atheists (or other religions) couldnt discern but your religion could.
Well, i think i found a remarkably simple answer.
Look at the video. A young boy has his his brother accidentially (this is a short version of the video).
See what happens. You see morality after just 34 seconds.
I didnt see any attempt by richard, i only saw one by freethinker44 which I do not find to be very conclusive. It is based on several assumptions and (as he himself states) at least one "belief";)
Ah .. a wonderful example. The teapot by Richard Dawkins. And of course you SHOULD know that he himself pointed out already that it is impossible to disproove the teapots existence. You might know that there is also a challenge to disproove some invisible unicorn in the atheists camps. So far...
Even submitting to some higher authority requires you to make a decision which of course requires (at least some) thinking.
Apart of that i of course didn't submit. I learned what they taught. That doesn't mean i accepted it straight away just because they had a position named teacher.
In order to say that the bible is the true reality you would have had to assess it first. Having done so you used the very same mind that according to you can imagine an infinite number of realities.
So your own statement shows the higher authority of your own mind.
Although not fitting in ths thread (we might make a new one for it and give a link here?)
This answer is not convincing. Actually i think that your site (the one you refer to) is rather liberal at interpreting things.
A Sphere is a 3 dimensional object. A circle is 2 dimensional. And of course...
