IF we can believe that God Created the World from Nothing, that God Became Man for our Salvation and was raised on the third day, 1000 year lifespanse aren't that much of a stretch.
There is nothing wrong with "wrestling with God". However, isn't it obvious that he is attacking Christians/Jews and not our God? I too wrestle with God, chafe against His Will etc. But this obviously is not the same thing.
Sadly not as much as He loves me.
I try to love Him as much as I am able, but I am a failure.
I love Christ more than anything else. It is what He has asked of me.
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? But Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he...
Doesn't this cross the line from Honest debate and disagreement to pure Flaming and Hatred?
What if I started a thread mocking the god of islam? or the pagan gods? How well would that go over on this forum?
I personally am not sure I believe all of the 39 articles, as they have a bit of a calvinistic bent. However I am not as critical of them as some seem to be.
What are your opinions?
God is only limited by how he limits himself.
He created nature, in such a way that an immovable post and an unstoppable canon ball cannot coexist. However, He could have easily made it otherwise.
He could lie if He chose, but He limits himself to the Truth.

Oh come on. The king james is a fine translation, but frankly I find the OP silly.
I can make the Bible say anything out of context.
(or is this a joke?)
The original Christian fundementalists, were actually named after a two book set called "The fundementalists". These books were a compilation of tracts.
Basically, a fundementalist was a Christian who held to the teachings of those tracts.

I was supportive when it began, because with the information we thought we had, it would have been a just war.
However, as our information was proven false, obviously I can no longer
"support" the war.
But i do believe that since we have torn up their country, we owe them as much to fix it...

others in authority, that they may do justice, and love mercy...
Indeed. Most Christian monks spend their time in Prayer, Charity work and Quiet meditation. Christ is the center of the Christian monk's life, leave the ET spotting to SETI ;).
Hey Jonny.
I read somewhere that LDS has a view of Traditional Christianity, that we do not gain the same position in heaven, or that we have a different heaven. From what I understand we are not thrown out into the "Outer Darkness" (Your term for hell right?), but we do not attain tru heaven...
as long as t is worship and not playtime. If the Children understood what the bubbles represented, I'm all for it.
I disagree with my Catholic Brother. While the Eucharist is indeed a celebration of The Sacrifice on Calvary, it is also a Celebration of the Life that flows from calvary.

I believe Christ to be The Way, the Truth, and the Life, but am facinated with...
