    A simulation from nothing?

In the past, science seemed to promote an atheistic world view, but now seem to be promoting a simulation world view. Is this the progress of science? Or is there something else going on?

    A simulation from nothing?

Did future human beings, from within the simulation, find a way to bring the simulation into existence? Or do the creators of the simulation have to be external to the simulation?

    Myths in the Judeo-Christian scripture.

If time travel to the past is ever achieved, Then the source of all prophecies could be humanoid. So, when making statements about prophecies in holy books, One has to rule out time travel.

Looking into the distant, distant, future,...... Do you see any limitations to the knowledge and applications of science? Will all 'obstacles' on the road be removed?

    Chance

Perhaps time travellers shuffled the pack!

    Chance

Once a self replicating structure comes into existence that makes mistakes in it's copying, that perhaps could be explained by pure chance (I'm guessing), but as the structure becomes more complex (because the mistakes improves the structure), other forces come into play....consider the...

    Chance

Who are the intelligent beings and where did they come from, and how did they come into existence?
  16. Cockadoodledoo

    Chance

If there was no God it would surely have to be, in the beginning, blind chance (unless time travellers gave a helping hand).
  17. Cockadoodledoo

    Chance

Chances are it occurred though, with mistakes too. That's all I'm saying. Trying to keep it simple, or I'll get in a mess!!!!

That was the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil if I'm not mistaken. It would be a strange state of affairs if it's fruit bore seeds, in my opinion!
  19. Cockadoodledoo

    Chance

So, that tree in the garden of Eden with the fruit..... Who thinks the fruit had seeds in it........ And therefore perhaps it was the first structure to have the ability to make a copy of itself?
  20. Cockadoodledoo

    Chance

One would expect molecules that replicate would have no purpose other than to self replicate, including with mistakes, leading probably to more and more complex self replicating structures. Is there any evidence that these structures exist today, e.g. Trees?
