It may be relative. You may be considered a god from an ants perspective. I might consider an alien life form that is advanced beyond our comprehension to be a god.
So God wants us to believe Baha'u'llah and end the fighting.
Epic Fail. As I said before, God could easily, directly or indirectly, end the fighting, but He does not.
Well how convenient for the Messanger. This doesn't make you suspicious at all?
How does God reward them?
Am I denied this because I am skeptical of the evidence and guarded against false prophets?
Okay, now we are getting somewhere.
All the stuff that Baha'is believe, the stuff you think is true and is based on reality, all the things Baha'u'llah said that were supposedly coming from God, can not be verified. Personally, I think it's all bull****. It's some guy telling a story and saying...
Could you briefly outline what you think God has done in the past and what you think his intentions are?
Sorry, I don't have time to read through hundreds of posts to get that info
I wish you read my post that was immediately after my initial post. I said I am not expecting anything from God. There is no evidence for what YOU assert God does. Whatever it is you and your books say he does, has done, is going to do, characteristics, motives... everything. I wish you could...
I have been reading and trying to follow "7 habits of highly effective people" for about 10 years now. Definatly worth a read through; I guarantee you will find something useful.
The knowledge comes easily, it's the following through that is a constant struggle!
And I'm only basing this on YOUR description of God. I am not expecting anything from the creator. I'm saying the real world is different than what we might expect if your assertions of God were correct
Yes, there is a lot of evidence against the existence of God based on that premise. For instance, Sean Carrol explains that if God existed, we would not expect the early universe to have such low entropy, because there is absolutely no need for it. If God existed, we would expect that entropy...
It would be trivially easy for a god to give everyone evidence of His existence and give clear instructions and knowledge. If God likes to pretend He's not around and stay out of things, than it's analogous to not being there at all. If God likes to be vague, play tricks, be selective with who...
A lot going on in this thread!
@Come2thelight
I made some comments earlier you had follow up questions.
In short, I think the Qu'ran is man-made and not the words of Allah. If it were the perfect word of God, there would not be mistakes, misconceptions, repetitions, misogyny, self serving...
