All you have to do is read what it says;
God breathed into the nostrils of man the breath of life and man became a living soul. Therefore, when the breath of life leaves man, he becomes a dead soul.
Concerning the women taken in adultery:
Here are thirteen points that summarize why we should not treat John 7:53–8:11 as original to the text.
John 7:53–8:11 are missing from earliest manuscripts (P66 P75 Sinaiticus Vaticanus). Alexandrinus is defective at this point (pages are missing), but...
Some seem to think it refers to "spiritual death" even though the Bible never talks about such a thing. Nor does it ever mention an "immoral soul".
Adam came under the death sentence on the very day he ate the fruit. He was a condemned man from that point forward. Like I said, even today we...
Look at the Greek of John 11:26.

But where does the Bible speak of the soul leaving the body. The usual answer is the passage where Paul says "absent from the body...and present with the Lord".
On the other hand, he says that unless the dead are raised the Christian has no hope and his faith is worthless.
There seems to be a...
That is a parable which speaks of the Jews after they had been driven out of their own land. They are viewed as being amongst the dead when they are not in their own land. And when they are brought back they are said to be given life again.
Another false idea(IMO) is that the immortal soul ("the real man himself") will be reunited with a body when the body is raised from the dead.
Where does the Bible say anything like that?
I'm simply going by what the Bible says. The Bible never using the terms 'immortal soul' or 'never dying soul' or anything like it.
In fact, it say that we are to seek for immortality. Rom 2:7
Again, I'm only going by what the Bible says. it does not say Adam died 'spiritually'. It says that...
2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation...
Spiritual death is not something the Bible teaches.
The idea is invented by man to explain what happened to Adam after he sinned. They say that Adam died
spiritually.
However, according to the Bible, Adam's eyes were opened whereby he knew what he had done was bad(evil). He was able to see...
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall...
