What kind of a god would make a place like Hell/Hellfire?

Of course not. You would only know the people who borrowed the gods previously created by others.

    To creative beginners...

What kind of a god would make a place like Hell/Hellfire?

Indeed. Let's change that to "the same kind of twisted and psychotic people who would create god in the first place." Good recommendation.

    Religion is like Science

And, I find your beliefs to be baseless and shallow.

    Does a god exist?

It's as easy as breaking free from defining yourself according to society and cultural, so you can be a fully-realized person. I expect this is a difficult, if not impossible, action for many people. Largely, because they are so fully defined by outside influences.

When you ask me to "open my heart and pray..."? [Question to believers]

So, your instructions were worthless. Got it.

    Does a god exist?

Some can, some can't. I suspect it comes down to perspective and personality. Anxiety, fear, and lack of flexibility often express as the need for absolutes.

When you ask me to "open my heart and pray..."? [Question to believers]

I tried it with every ounce of sincerity and openness I could muster. Nothing happened.

    Small Victories.

I don't think there's anything more satisfying than finally pulling off a rusted-on brake rotor after several hours of trying to work it off. What personal, small victories have you enjoyed lately?

    Raise Your Hand if You Didn't Know That 4 X 4 Lumber is Actually 3 1/2 X 3 1/2

I really don't see how this can possibly be true. You must be mistaken.

    Raise Your Hand if You Didn't Know That 4 X 4 Lumber is Actually 3 1/2 X 3 1/2

I discovered my box of "Froot Loops" cereal contains absolutely no fruit. I can't tell you the mental anguish and suffering I've endured since finding this out. Somebody has to pay.

Do Atheists claiming truthiness on predetermined view?

I think you have it backwards. There is no freewill if the future can be known by a god.

    Does a god exist?

It's a name given to our projection of ourselves onto the unknown. Some people can't deal with unknowns, so they fill it in with the only thing they know how to - themselves.

Turkey Will Stop Teaching Evolution in Secondary Schools

A common misconception of people who have absolutely no idea what science is. Fortunately, there can't be but two or three people who are that ignorant.
