    If God is everywhere...

Yes. God is both omnipresent and eternal--everything is the present to Him.

You'd Think That Those Who Ran Public Schools Would Be Brighter Than This

I'm not picking up what you're laying down. I already laid out clearly what my position is on this matter. If you think I'm being duplicitous, I'd appreciate knowing what you think I said was a lie so I can set the record straight.

You'd Think That Those Who Ran Public Schools Would Be Brighter Than This

But if you tell the kids that it's just a fairy tale, that's the school saying "Young Earth Creationism and a literal view of the Bible are false", which also runs afoul of the First Amendment. The only legally safe way to do it is to say "This play is a story from the Bible, and it's a story...

You'd Think That Those Who Ran Public Schools Would Be Brighter Than This

Yes, that most school-appropriate of films. I fully approve of this plan. This is definitely a borderline case for me. I don't think it's a problem if the kids are taken to see a Christian play, as long as they will later receive equal exposure to other major religious traditions, and as long as...

Whatever is written in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the decrees of the Catholic councils.

Beto wants to tax any church if...

A religious organization refusing to perform a religious ceremony for anybody is in no way a violation of anyone's "basic principles of decency established by the laws of that government". Nobody has a right to a given religious ceremony. I don't have a right to a bar mitzvah, or a navjote, or a...

Beto wants to tax any church if...

A religious wedding ceremony is not a civil right, nor is it a human right. You can get a same-sex wedding done at a courthouse, outside, in a park, on a boat, etc. Nobody has a right to a religious space or to a religious ceremony if usage of said space or ceremony would contradict the...

Would You Love Someone Who Loved Their God More Than You?

If I had a girlfriend and a dog, and my gf made me pick between her and the dog, I'm picking the dog. The dog's love is far less conditional and far more wholesome and genuine than crappy girlfriend's.

Would You Love Someone Who Loved Their God More Than You?

As long as it's the same God as I worship? Sure. Shared faith and values can help make for a very strong family foundation.

“Jesus Shoes” With Holy Water Are Selling Out

I was gonna say, no way in hell anybody actually decided this was a good idea. Consumerism hasn't gone this far... Yet... Right?

“Jesus Shoes” With Holy Water Are Selling Out

Grab a knife and shred all the shoes, dump all the water in the soles out onto the ground and chuck the crucifixes into a smithing forge to be melted into scrap, and then burn the rest.

Surprising Sex Stats: Probably Three In Four Pregnancies End In Abortion. Other Stats . . . .

Those are called "miscarriages" if it happens before the 20th week. I have never heard the phrase "spontaneous abortion" in my life before this video. Impressive wordplay on the part of some to try and make abortions seem normal, I will say.

Western ideals sold out for eastern money?

I think soon we'll see a breaking point where Western consumers start giving the finger to any companies who bend the knee to China. Americans especially are much more fond of freedom than of money. Our whole country is literally built on the principle of "You can't tell me what to do". This...

    Christians demanding hugs from strangers

I've never seen any Christian, conservative or otherwise, invade a stranger's personal space like that, so asking "Why do Christians do stuff like this" is a nonsensical question to me. She was just trying way too hard to be friendly.

Of course you can. We pray for everyone, living and dead, righteous and sinner, during every divine service.

Why we are stuck with two political parties. It's rigged that way.

Oddly enough, I find district-level voting to be the best chance for new parties to get a foot in the door. Third parties like the Greens and Libertarians are generally only popular within certain counties in a state, where the local priorities align with those of the aforementioned parties.
