I waited to see if the fuss would die down and the actual paper's contents were read. That Gizmodo article in the OP is awful; the science blogs that are reporting back on the finding are rather underwhelmed. It may just be more bad science reporting and brings to mind the hysteria over Venters'...
Fair enough. I used puerile towards the OP in the "silly" and "trivial" sense, but I understand your point.
As much of a point I can take from a kilt wearin', shack dwellin', Scottish immigrant, drunken groundskeeper that is... :p
I'm not sure about good architecture books for kids but I like Shermer's Teach Your Child Science (sorry, the Amazon.uk didn't have a pic so I used the N. American Amazon) as an introduction to arranging tests. The book should be good for a 5 year old but it's geared more towards helping the...
I'd suggest reading anything by E.O. Wilson, particularly his excellent Superorganism which examines how ant colonies composed of individuals, acting on a hardwired altruism, are a stepping stone between the organism and a species.
I actually just wanted to post here so I could use the word...
I disagree particularly when I already addressed the OP's false assumptions in my post #50 and didn't give my opinion of its puerile nature until much later. I sincerely think the OP was puerile, the question itself isn't but the way it was presented was silly and trivialized a complicated...
I found the entire OP puerile; equating things like the NAACP and the lack of caucasian clubs at schools is trivializing the history of racism in the U.S. imo.
I don't think my post(s) were knee jerk. I hope not.
I did respond to the OP with a logical rebuttal devoid of character...
I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt since this thread is the only one where he has demonstrated anything I'd associate with a white nationalist attitude. His viking imagery could very well have more to do with a 17 yeard olds interest in Swedish death metal than white nationalism.
Of...
Heh... subtle.
I may or may not be naive for assuming his whole shtick has more to do with a 17 year old being into bands like Meshuggah and Omium Gatherum than white nationalism.
Anyone can join the NAACP. Given the U.S.'s history of White domination I don't think a White version of the NAACP is necessary- the history of "separate but equal" has always tilted the beneficial to White Americans.
Then the Italian, Irish, Polish and French clubs must be terrified...
I realize the passages you mentioned are scripture- Nimrod is mentioned in Gen. 10:8-9 where it's established Nimrod's kingdom housed the cities Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calnah in the land of Shinar. But while it does describe his founding the city of Babel the extrabiblical legend that he's...
Regarding the OP, I'm pretty sure it can't be a religion unless there's at least a little bit of snake handling and a spiritual leader with a weird beard or a hat or maybe a bow tie on.
