I was raised Christian, went through a discontented phase where I explored Luciferianism, became comfortable in New Age for a few years, then reconverted to Christianity for a little while, and now I'm pagan.
I don't really follow any tradition. I'm eclectic I think. My Patron deity is Diana so...
You can't. When you take this question seriously there's no way to really know. Which is why I think putting 'God' into a box of perfectly good or perfectly evil (or two separately opposed divine beings!) doesn't work out. I prefer to think that any God has both, which makes you wonder why to...
What about the reverse? Women wear trousers these days - traditionally considered men's wear in western countries. Are we going to hell too?
I feel sorry for the Scottish men who wear traditional kilts (aka, skirts).
Everytime I squat a fly I hate myself for being a murdering so and so.
Where do you draw the line? A fetus under a certain age isn't really alive. Also, as others have stated, there may be perfectly good reasons to abort during late pregnancy.
Ok in a perfect world no one would squat flies...
I started watching the series on Netflix called "The Good Place". It's about a woman who died and finds herself in 'heaven' by accident, because she was a bad person on earth. But it actually turns out this 'heaven' is false and is actually hell.

My answer is really the same as my last, since you are monotheistic I can't refute your beliefs without refuting monotheism as a whole, since I am not monotheistic.
I think the real question should be: Why did it take us mortal humans so much blood sweat and tears to find a cure for leprosy, whilst a supposedly omnipotent God can just heal them with the click of his fingers? Is God lazy or what?
I think it's your perception of the world that determines everything else. I believe the world is beautiful as it is, perfect, magical, and wonderful. Sure bad things happen too but I don't focus on them, instead I focus on minimising such things through activism. And that makes this life 100%...
I was raised Christian and my entire extended family are Christian. It's hard not to include Jesus now and again in my own personal devotions. But apart from social convention I don't really have a connection with Jesus. So he remains a bridge between me and everyone else.
I am the only non christian in my entire family including extended family, on all sides (all protestant). Lol. I'm at a significant disadvantage there.
