    "Scientism" on Wikipedia ...

Is that all empiricism is to you? "Sufficient evidence" and being able to demonstrate something is true? This whole paragraph really.

    The True God

I think it is the Father, the One True God, due to consistency reasons primarily. The Scriptures well establish in the majority of circumstances to call the Father "God" or "True God." The Son reveals the Father, so therefore it is the Father said to be "True" there.

How do you decide what is right or wrong to do in a situation?

I consider, not necessarily in this order (although I have written these in their importance, least to most): 1) My subjective intention in doing the act. This is easy to change, if I have a bad one I can just change it to a good one. 2) The circumstances and consequences. The when, where, what...

    The first cause argument

Does not everyone do this all the time?

    "Scientism" on Wikipedia ...

Makes sense, sounds like Aristotle's divisions of science. Those are also how I divide it. So there are at least as many roads to knowledge as these I think.

    "Scientism" on Wikipedia ...

How does your culture divide them? I learned through my studies that what US folks usually call "science" is only one division (natural as you said), and that the term really goes to any systematic body of knowledge.

To even answer that one has to know what you mean by "science." What do you mean by it and how broad is it?

Is it ever going to end?

Not from psychological examination, but I am currently taking the time to learn about (and apply) psychology that people like Evagrius Ponticus or St. John Cassian taught and learned, I call this or other conceptions (like that of St. Thomas Aquinas) "native psychology," that is it arises from...

Why do peace seems to scare some people?

To me peace is a complex issue, especially considering the state of the Fallen World we live in. Clearly the Lord is a peace-loving guy who detests violence, yet also fighting sometimes is necessary because peace will be destroyed if it is not defended. We should not go looking for conflicts...

    New variant = New vaccine

I accepted that ages ago, and just like the flu I will just ignore the vaccine and the virus. Never got the flu or a flu vax, never got the COV or a COV vax, it's all the same to me. If only the world as a whole would begin to treat it as the same.

    The first cause argument

The Pyrrhonist arises from his grave achieving his long sought-after ataraxia.

    CRT Divisiveness, the culprit

Amen. I also am a fan of big hair.

    CRT Divisiveness, the culprit

How are they inherently racist? They seem pretty cool to me.

Is it ever going to end?

The end of the article from the diocese sums up what I was going to say: “In the wake of evil acts like those committed by McWilliams, it is natural for good people to want to believe that something could have been done to prevent them, if only people had simply tried harder or done more,” the...

All subjects doing a test the same way and achieving the same results makes the result "objective" to you in all cases?

    Question about Paul and God

In the degree that this is possible, I think it is possible that he was out, or else he would not have said this about himself.

    Ultimate Wisdom...

Indeed, all knowledge is relational, and conscience (co-knowing) is that very thing, which some ignore to their detriment.

    Expatriation

I've considered it but I'm not going to do it. I love the USA, it's a great place and I consider myself to be blessed by God above most of the Earth to have been born here. I'll definitely do extended visits (5 years and such) to other places, but I won't expat.

    I love Buddha

No. At least not in any unique way beyond loving humanity.

Scientists develop tiny camera the size of a grain of salt

It's gonna be a hellscape, but the first thing that comes to my mind is a film. Drop a super tiny camera (presuming development of the thing of course) and let it just capture the candid lives of individuals as it gets passed around through their stuff. Would be difficult to make interesting...
