I keep HEARING that.
the problem is..Scandanavia.
I think that Idaho can do that. Or Nevada can. Or Mississippi or North Carolina or even New York. I'd love to see California give it a go.
but for the entire United States to do it?
Not even remotely possible.
Or a Democrat? Have you been LISTENING to Pelosi, et. al?
Indeed. I wish I had money right now...I'd SO be buying...and wondering what the mindset is of all those idiots who are selling off!
you are the one who insists that this doesn't happen, and that any notion of it really happening is a baseless and despicable ad hominem. (shrug)
I'm the one wishing I were wrong.
As I said.
I wish I WERE doing a 'baseless and despicable' ad hominem. Unfortunately, I've seen Democrats actually do this. Wish I hadn't. I really wish I hadn't.
And wouldn't you be dancing away? The Democrats have done EVERYTHING in their power to block Trump's actions in this matter, and he's been on the thing since it showed up in China.
Why do I get the feeling that the Dems would be gleefully counting the dead bodies over this, figuring that they...
No I don't, especially when the question I as IS an answer to your question.
Or...no I don't, even if it annoys you. Sorry....but if it helps my question to you IS an answer to yours.
You are quite right. However, since the book is written by people who do equate 'perfectly normal' with...
Hmmn. I haven't seen the video or read the article. (well, I couldn't....the link doesn't take me where the article is supposed to be) I am commenting here about something that has been bugging me for awhile now; the 'deal' mentality of the legal system.
OK, consider this....that actually...
Well now, doesn't that just prove my point?
Where does YOUR 'normal' come into play, and when does your version of 'normal' mean that any activity is absolutely 'acceptable' behavior, or 'perfectly normal,' and there fore OK?
I don't have to think very hard in order to come up with things...
First, good list.
(grin) Some of the items need a good long look, I see. to see what THEY actually say and don't say, but...good list.
As for what morals the book 'sets forth,' WHAT is the title of the book again? "It's perfectly normal?"
THAT'S a judgment call. Absolutely not objective or...
Look up libel laws.
Now Trump, being a 'pubic figure' has to prove a great deal more than you or I would, in regard to this, but just as freedom of speech doesn't allow yelling 'fire' in a movie theater, or allow a university to support and promote campaigns to destroy private businesses by...
And what would those be, Skwim?
Are they what WE say they are, or what you do?
And either way, who are you to decide for us what we teach our children as to morality? When does YOUR idea of what 'moral' is trump ours, that you get to tell us what we can and can't do?
Now me, MY children knew...
And who says that morals come down to math equations?
Biology and nature aren't subjective, but MORALS certainly are.
My point is that if the secular schools are going to use materials rated ...how was it put...PG and PG13, never mind R rated material to teach THEIR version of 'what is ok to...
Trump. infinitely Trump. Why? Because Trump is a pragmatist and a business man He's quite aware that using the nuke means he's lost.
Bernie is an idealogue who would think that using the nuke would actually result in the world he wants. I'd be a lot more worried about Bernie if he weren't...
Well, in this case....it's one of the reasons I advocate for homeschool. This book is teaching morals to kids in a venue where they aren't supposed to be GETTING moral values.
That should be up to the parents. Period.
I am very much against a secular school teaching moral values to my kids...
I think so, yeah...and if Clinton had been a Republican, you would think so too.
yep. And the fact that there was so incredible a disparity between the power of the one and the powerlessness of the other makes it, IMO, rape.
Consider: if she had been three years younger, it would have been...
Is he right that while kids in public school have mandated access to this book, one can't publish many of the pictures on Facebook without blurring the images?
I haven't read the book. I'm just curious about that aspect.
Because dang....I have a problem with that one.
Well, you certainly can't accuse me of THAT, at least.
However, unless someone comes up with a liberal (or shoot, a libertarian) with whom I can agree politically, it's 'hold my nose and vote for Trump"
Because IMO, He IS doing a good job as POTUS. At least, the USA is in better financial...
Of course they do.
.....and I see more liberals do it than I do conservatives.
I'm also QUITE aware that the reason I do so is because I AM a conservative, and not a liberal, and so tend to look more closely at liberals. It's the 'volkswagon syndrome' gone nutty.
But at least I AM aware of it...
