    Question about Buddhism...

I find this a very curious remark. You have made numerous posts here on RF and to the best of my knowledge make no effort to communicate with those who reply. Why should any Buddhist believe that your behaviour would be better anywhere else?

    God's naughty vulgar side?

Shame on you @Eddi . People being sloppy with there equine erotic data is one of the curses of modern society.

    Mr Bean is not funny

While I understand your good intentions here Eddi, I feel that this is on rather shaky ground. For a start, what is Mr Beans disability? In the series, Bean manages to live alone, own and drive a car and has a girlfriend. He is doing OK. Rowan Atkinson cites Peter Sellers as an influence...

What Is Your Religion or Worldview?

I am pretty eclectic, but in the main I try to follow the Buddhist Noble Eightfold Path along with the Eleven Commitments of Modern Druidry. The Quaker SPICES principles are important to me as well. My beliefs are very tied in with the environment and our relationship with it. As such, the...

What if these Christian beliefs are not true?

Yes, IMO there will always be lots of them. The problem seems to be that their "belief" is not the result of thought, but rather a quick fix for instant reassurance and sometimes an emotional high. Back in the 1960's and 70's, I remember people talking about incredibly advanced alien...

Why don't other people care that I'm depressed ?

Never. I am not quite sure why you felt the need for that little bit of unpleasantness? "Relate to them and keep them talking?" Largely yes. Relate to them, certainly. I am not sure about "keep" but yes, the offer of support and communication is a lifeline to be maintained.

Why don't other people care that I'm depressed ?

Absolutely, Dan, dead right. @Massimo2002 I truly believe that most people here care. How we deal with it, how we express it has numerous varieties, so let us not jump to any conclusions there. Please remember, that even if there are trained, qualified people on RF, they can only do so much...

Trump possibly shot at PA rally

I totally agree. On top of the usual considerations, a dead one is fuel for the conspiracy theorists.

Why don't other people care that I'm depressed ?

You may well be right, let us hope so. I used to do a lot of voluntary work with an organization involved with this sector. One thing in my training which I have never forgotten was some statistics showing an increase in the rate of suicide and attempts among people who were generally considered...

Why do most people live doing the same thing day in and out ?

I agree. In my experience the usual result of prolonged boredom is anger and aggression. This can emerge in a persons private life or perhaps in industrial relations problems. I do believe that boredom can be connected to suicide or other mental health problems when it comes on top of other...

4chan should just be banned from the internet entirely

Until I read your post I had never even heard of 4chan. I am sitting in work with nothing to do, so I thought I would take a look. My employers systems immediately blocked it. That is a first for me in this place. I guess it must be pretty unpleasant.

Why don't other people care that I'm depressed ?

@Massimo2002 There are organisations in Canada that may be able to help. Don't struggle alone. https://thelifelinecanada.ca/call/

Why do most people live doing the same thing day in and out ?

This, I think, is the key. There was a TV documentary once. Some sort of consultant spent time at a factory where most jobs were incredibly boring. He was surprised at how successful many of the employees were in their lives outside of work. There were gardeners, martial artists, army...

Your favourite type of cell in the human body?

    Especially in black pudding.

Why don't other people care that I'm depressed ?

Very strange - I went outside when I was not depressed but exactly the same thing happened to me.

    Is Woke a religion?

If the proletariat are out of the equation, then what you have is not Marxism, cultural or otherwise.

Were there agricultural methods used to make alcohol? How do archeologists explore the evidence of agriculture?

Yes he did and I, for one, am grateful. Aupmanyav's post was a lot more interesting than pathetic comments about breakfast cereal.

Were there agricultural methods used to make alcohol? How do archeologists explore the evidence of agriculture?

"The ability to metabolize alcohol likely predates humanity with primates eating fermenting fruit. The oldest verifiable brewery has been found in a prehistoric burial site in a cave near Haifa, Israel. Researchers have found residue of 13,000-year-old beer that they think might have been used...

What part of "Over the years I have spoken to quite a few 'Christians'." don't you understand? Jumping to conclusions again.
