    You know, I'd like to think that if it had just been me, I'd be right with you. I'm all grown up and make my choices as I see fit. But to give these things to children who are just out for some fun...I don't know, that just angers me in some fundamental way.

    That's like saying, "What are you complaining about? They only hit you once! They could have put you in the hospital!" Just because it wasn't worse doesn't make it good. A gift with no thought given to the receiver is not a gift, in my opionion.

    I see what you're saying, but in fact, this woman didn't pay for any candy. I watched my five year old at every door and I saw this woman put the pamphlet in my daughter's bag. That's all she put in there.
