25-Year-Old Woman Stoned to Death in Broad Daylight in Pakistan

i don't know how you guys come to religion at a sudden? what that killing of women has to do with religion?
Hi...... Well, in Britain only about 95% of honour attack and murder victims are Muslim, so, you might have a point......

that wasn't a religious issue at all, read the story again if you don't understand.
.... I read it again. I'm trying to equate what you say with the average 2850 honour attacks which are carried out upon Muslim victims in Britain.

Question:- Under Shariah law, does a father have a right to kill his daughter in certain circumstances?

should I accuse all atheists for killing of six people and wounding 13 others in California? that is ridiculous.
No..... that would indeed be quite wrong, especially in light of,say, a recent attack on a school in Nigeria :-
Islamic Militants Kill 30 In Nigeria School Attack

Did you read about this?

is it a question or a joke? obviously it is against Islamic teachings.

Well, you still did not answer the question and I have asked you three times now.
How can you say it's against islamic teaching, yet it happens all the time, the police force ignore it and even the court system sentenced a woman to death for marrying outside the muslim faith and leaving the muslim faith?

Hmmm, something is not adding up.
Muslims are a religion of peace, obviously their own culture overrules their own god and they are not even following their own god.
Anyone can claim what ever they want, but reality obviously tells a different story
If one does not walk the walk, the talk the talk, is empty words.

"I am following a religion of peace, hold on, have to stone my pregnant to death, brb to explain how peaceful I am"

i can not even imagine how we can relate this barbaric act of killing with any punishment in Islam.
If a Pakistani Muslim can't help the rest of understand why a newly wed couple with a baby on the way were bludgeoned to death by the wife's family who do we ask?

This wasn't the act of a psycho or some disturbed group. It was the family and community teaming up to beat them to death with rocks for getting married.

I distinctly recall a much more powerful reaction from Pakistan society to a drawing by a Danish cartoonist. Why such a different reaction?

Hi Kashmir....
Well, I guess it can be hard for some to defend certain aspects of their religions, ways of life or beliefs, so they might have to take refuge in denial. What else to do?

Sharia law allows fathers to kill their children in certain circumstances, it seems.
I don't believe that mothers have this right, only Fathers.

i checked that, it is two third, still I can't see any relation with religion, wiki mentions most of the honor-killing victims are those who travel from Asia and Middle east to UK.

how is that possible? i believe you have no knowledge of Islam. and just trying to play here and there.

if Muslims scholars are supporting BOKO HARAM, then I can think if it is religious act, many Muslims scholars have issued statements against them.

What really bothers me is how it is turned around against me, when I am trying to figure how where the peace part comes in and am treated like I am the bad guy here.

Nothing what so ever deems a religion peaceful if even the police force indirectly approves of stoning a woman to death for such a trivial reason.
You simply can not hide behind culture, Gods laws overrule cultures laws.
If islam and muslims were not such a holy people who are completely religious, I wouldn't be having this convo.
But their whole entire lives are all about their god.
So something is highly wrong with this picture.

I hope that at least the first stone knocked her out, so her death wasn't so painful to her :(

How does Boko Haram get away without support from the locals? Hiding 250 school girls while auctioning them off to bidders can't be done entirely in secret.

it isn't hard to post such silly questions, one i will as too
is it allowed in Texas for fathers to kill their daughter's boyfriends? :p

goal posting instead of answering the question?
Muslims are highly religious, right down to the clothing.
You didn't even come close to a comparison.
And even if you would have by showing something like this with for say Amish and the law ignoring it, does it make the stoning any more moral according to your god, a simple question you refuse to answer?
I dont find anything silly about this either, odd you do....

those who were involved in throwing bricks on that women, they will all get punishment according to law.

Not according to the news article.
It seems very common and never results in the law doing a thing.
So the media lies, as usual?
You cant even answer a simple question and keep going around it, yet say they will get punished, when the very news article says the complete opposite?
Remember now, a judge ordered a pregnant woman to hang for leaving the muslim faith and marrying a christian.

....the percentage of Muslim victims actually born in the UK is rising.
You find that 66% of all honour killing victims are Muslims? Correct?
You might be right that up till now honour killings victims in UK have come from Asia and Mid-East..... because they are Muslim?

how is that possible? i believe you have no knowledge of Islam. and just trying to play here and there.
Playing here and there?
I don't know much, but could I ask you to read the following para from Wiki?
Honor crimes occur in societies where there is an interplay between discriminatory traditions of justice and statutory law. In some countries, this discrimination is exacerbated by the inclusion of Shari'a, Islamic law, or the concept of zina (sex outside of marriage).[44]
.....did you know this? Have you ever heard of Sharia law?

if Muslims scholars are supporting BOKO HARAM, then I can think if it is religious act, many Muslims scholars have issued statements against them.
Please don't start me off about Muslim scholarship.... it reminds me about standards in some Islamic schools in Britain.

What punishment is that?

The guy in Texas you linked to is in a world of hurt. And what he did was shoot someone in his house he didn't know and nobody else admitted to knowing him either.
That is extremely different from smashing your daughter's head open with a brick because of who she married.

You know the same type of goal posting in going on in the comments section of the news article.
Are they trying to say its ok to stone people to death by talking about other horrors from the past?
Sort of like a justification to live by barbaric laws?
Who knows why talking about what hitler did, is even relevant, no clue what so ever.
No clue how goal posting is even relevant.

You dont hear Christians trying to goal post sicko priests, they all agree it is wrong, and fighting to stop the horrors.
Hopefully the Pope is not just talking empty words by wanting to stop it as well.

But all these barbaric laws in islam, seems to be reasoned by goal posting.
