A Christian believes --------------------------------?

That is nothing more than your (incorrect) opinion. If you miss most of my posts, how can you make any judgment?
Because although I likely miss most of your posts, the many that I HAVE read consistently show the mistakes over and over and over, the most obvious being that you have no awareness of the difference between a belief and a fact.

And that is agreed upon by all Christian denominations?
As far as I know, Protestants aren't that much into confession.
Why do you bring up Confession? I never mentioned it.

"Aren't that much into..." doesn't mean anything. Save that stuff for the NFL

I stand by what I said.

And Faith is NEVER evidence of fact. Plenty of Hindus have faith in Krishna. Does that make it a fact that Krishna is a real god?
I believe what God's word clearly says, not your opinion. Read Hebrews 11:1

I'm not that much into sports endemic to the US.

What I like is when people answer my questions. But I don't have much luck with that. You are the second person today who is insulting my intelligence by dodging my questions and assuming I don't notice.

I believe that you're mistaken. That is a FACT! :p

Okay, let's get literal. I didn't mention "confession". And nobody that I know is "into" confusion. It's not a hobby.

I know the difference. Show me where I don't.

If you're referring to Hebrews 11:1, faith is being sure(!) of what you hope for and certain(!) of what you don't see. You are the one who lacks understanding because you have a closed mind and limited thinking.

An example: I don't BELIEVE that God exists, I KNOW that He exists.

I didn't know that there is a requirement to answer your questions. As far as I know, you are neither a policeman or a judge, so THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT.

A fact is something that is proven. Faith beliefs like God's existence of the divine origin of the Bible are NOT proven. I'm not dismissing faith. I'm simply pointing out if you have faith, you believe in something not a fact.

I just want to clarify... You think the disembodied souls have arms and legs and genitals, and continue to digest food?
No, I think that they will have a spiritual body. I don't know what that will look like but I do not believe it will have genitals or eat food because those will not be necessary for existing in the spiritual world.

“The world beyond is as different from this world as this world is different from that of the child while still in the womb of its mother. When the soul attaineth the Presence of God, it will assume the form that best befitteth its immortality and is worthy of its celestial habitation.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 157

“The answer to the third question is this, that in the other world the human reality doth not assume a physical form, rather doth it take on a heavenly form, made up of elements of that heavenly realm.”
Selections From the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, p. 194

Thank you for clarifying.

To me, the word "body" either refers to a regular physical form, or to something that shares that physical form. Thus, even if this body is entirely spiritual, it would still have genitals and eat food, etc. It is good to know that at least are not trying to say those things. :)

Only if you are a faithful interlocutor. If you don't want to be one, just say so, then we can end the conversation.
I will participate as I see fit. I don't have to meet your conditions.

Yeap. I expected you to ignore the clear example that disproves you. "Don't confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up."
And you are clearly ignoring what the word of God definitively says concerning faith. You have not disproved me; you have offered your opinion, which is clearly wrong.

Read my previous message #178. The Bible clearly defines faith, which is the opposite of what you claim. Why should I choose your opinion over God's word?

Your words -- "Don't confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up." -- clearly define your ability to reason.
