A Universe from Nothing?

I can't agree with that. Life is short. Screw that which is living me. I am the one in control, so I am living life and that which is living me can go f_themselves. Let them go get their own form or else die ha ha.

Somehow the Buddhism that I've learned through the reverend, my gf and the Dalai Lama's book, sounds more worthwhile than what you just stated. I rather take refuge there. Good day sir.

ha ha ha ha...who is it that lives? who is it that dies? who is it that takes refuge? who is it that is in control? answer these and you will be instantly enlightened.

How could it be anything but?

People have all sorts of odd ideas about what Buddhism teaches. This is perhaps understandable though, because Buddhism is diverse and pluralistic, and there are many different schools, methods and assumptions.

Every cell or collections of cells that have the properties we require for us to call the cell or collection alive.
who is it that dies?
Every cell or collection of cells that no longer function in the way we require the cell or collection of cells to function in order to call it alive.

Well, it is amusing - to an extent, much like listening to a singer butcher a national anthem...

It is an awful parody of authentic teachings, muddled together with some pseudo-science to produce a Frankenstein DIY religion, a dogmatic new-age nightmare.

It's a Zen cliche, the idea is that we're supposed to be enlightened already but don't realise it. Meh.

There is no 'becoming' in Buddhism. The seeker on the path toward becoming the Buddha is an illusion. That is why it is said that, "if you see the Buddha on the road, kill him!":D

You're just saying that to cover up the fact that you don't know the answers to these questions.

Not at all. I am objecting to your awful parodies of Buddhist teachings, your lame Zen-style cliches, it is all pretentious drivel which you think makes you sound clever. It really doesn't though, and people here see right through it.

You are only here to hijack threads and preach your new-age dogma, inspired by your hero, the charlatan Chopra.

Everyone is already enlightened, but most just haven't realized it yet.

"Before Enlightenment, it is Something Special;
after Enlightenment, it is Nothing Special"
Zen Source

Again you are just parroting Zen cliches. It is boring.

And what is the "Zen source" here? Is this another fake quote?

I am not interested in your awful new-age parodies of Buddhism, or your lame Zen cliches. It is all nonsense. You continually misrepresent Buddhism, you post fake quotes, it is all a vain attempt to prop up your tiresome new-age dogma.
