Abortion is murder

So dont use birth control..Go forth and multiply..Like God said to do..Legally you can use birth control..But God said to multiply..So have 8 or 10 or 12 children..

If God is the one giving us our children..Why do we manipulate when he can or cant give them to us?..(assuming you are married or have been..or plan on it in the future)

If a married man and woman have one child they have multiplied. Their family has increased. The bible doesn't give a specific number and it doesn't say it's wrong to prevent fertilization. God can prevent the birth control from working though.

But “God” takes no action to prevent this. Yesterday you said that it was because “God” values free will. If this is “God” policy shouldn’t the government do the same? Should the government take away the free will that “God” has granted?

Government can take away free will. Look at China. They are only allowed to have one child. However, they do have the free will to move to a country that would allow them to have more than one child.

I didn’t ask if they could, I asked if they should. I will ask a third time. If “God” has decided not to take any action to prevent abortions, should the government not follow “God’s” lead in this matter? If “God” allows women the free will to make this decision for themselves, should the government not also allow them the same free will?

Oh I see..So its o.K to permenantly steralize your self..As long as you have had at least one child .In order to fill the divine law AND control your own life instead of trusting God to decide for you how many children you should have..

Got it..How conveneint..How about a person who gets a visectomy never having a child..Just decides he and his wife dont want to "multiply"..Is that divine too?

You are comparing government to God and they are not the same.

Like I said, you can use all the birth control you want. If God wants you to have a baby, He will allow you to get pregnant despite the birth control.

For someone who has "Christianity" under their name, you sure don't have much faith in what God can do.

Oh I was waiting for that to come..

I have a lot of faith in what God can do..As well as what he doesnt do (for mysterious reasons) I have fatih in that as well..I also have faith that some of His faithful will call my faith into question..

Good job with the quotation marks around the word Christianity regarding me..Thats very "original"..

I apologize if I offended you. So many people call themselves Christians for different reasons.

Abortion is legal, but divine law says it isn't. In some states same sex marriage is legal, but divine law says it isn't.
So then, YOU don't have an abortion and don't marry someone of the same sex. Problem solved.

Are you sure about this argument?

If every conception is intended by God to be born than why are there miscarriages?

Why are babies born with debilitating conditions sometimes to the point where the brain is so damaged that consciousness itself may not be present?

Does God flinch?

Still waiting for an answer on this one.

Though the answer provided to the first question begs the question as to why God would create the child in conception but then spiritually induce a miscarriage. Ineffability, I guess.

Doesn't that all depend on which "divine laws" you believe even exist? You believe that there is a certain set of divine laws given by a certain deity. A deity that many other people don't believe exists. Many other people believe in other deities which have their own rules and "laws". So you cannot simply say that "divine law" says this or that because some people's "divine law" don't say those things at all. I know that what can be interpreted as "divine law" in my religion doesn't have one iota of an issue with same sex marriage. So whose "divine law" really matters to society?

Right, "Give to Ceasar what is Caesar's" meaning obey the law. And the law says that abortion is legal. ie- NOT murder.

For now in some nations, it wasn't always legal in mine, but things change, saying that however abortion by definition contravenes the commandment that prohibits killing humans.

Whoopty-doo for the "commandment". The laws of a particular religion have jack squat to do with those of other religions and have nothing to do with government or general society.

Not really English common law which American law is based on is largely derived from Christianity itself...

American law is based on the idea of secularism and what is good for society as a whole. Not Christianity. You know...morals and general welfare exist totally without Christianity...as hard as that may be for some to comprehend.

I am not a Christian, and I will think you will find American Law is based on English common law, ask a judge or lawyer...
