I can only assume their just plain stupid.
Really? I know many intelligent people who smoke, know it's bad, but can't stop.
My mother managed to find the motivation to stop altogether: bearing me.
Because these people who continue to smoke have absolutely no will power, it's easier to give in to the grave rather than fight it, once again just plain stupidity.
...I said tobacco, not marijuana. Aren't you aware that nicotine is the most addictive drug in the world? Once you start, even people with very strong wills can't stop so easily.
And what products are you referring to that people will think will make them happy?
Nothing specific: any merchandise built in the factories.
Haven't you ever thought, "If only I had that, I would be happy."? Well, EVERYONE these days feels that way, including myself.
Welcome to consumer America.
Now this is just a plain stupid analogy, religious leaders claim to have a main pipeline to the divine, know what God is actually thinking and convey that to the people, tell them that an afterlife is waiting for them, an afterlife full of peace and contentment, there is no way you can compare a company selling a product, as addictive as it may be, to the promises of religious leaders.
Why? The promises are the same, and the goal by the leaders is the same. I'm not saying ANY old company: I'm talking about the corrupted ones.
They both desire Power. That is their end-all motivation for their lies and self-deception.
Power rules the world right now, and has for thousands of years. And unfortunately, most people are all too happy to follow.
