American Girl Wants to Marry MUSLIM Man, People's Reactions

Godobeyer, this isn't an issue of criticism. It's a language issue. You are demonstrating a lack of understanding of the English word hypocrisy.

Flankerl, are you the Balrog in this scenario? :)

Not marrying someone of a different faith because your own faith (or the degree in which you choose to follow it) prohibits it, how sad.

I'd rather say that the outcome of further engaging is the Balrog.
The Balrog also gets bigger the longer this is happening.

I am starting to feel there can be no outcome. Further engaging will just keep the ball rolling on interminably.

I follow what most of Muslim follow , ISIS "think" is not my reference.

Some rules in some religions hardly/rare to become personal choice . since it's vast commun .

Godobeyer, we all make personal choices. If your personal choice is to follow the majority, then perhaps Christianity is the religion for you.

It's about majority of religion in region or between a community.

Christianity would be a religion for you (not me ) in your case, there is two or three dominated religions in this world , Christianity and Islam are top two.

I live in between majority of Muslims ,for my country so it's really sad that we suffered from our extremists since 1991 , but I am happy that we eliminate them , and people had more resistance to extremism views.

I suppose if some one want to commit a terrorism crime against any one or anywhere, non one will colaborate with him. that's for sure he will be arrested or stopped.

I want to know why religious based discrimination is regarded differently than discrimination based upon anything else. Why is religious based discrimination special in that it isn't to be questioned or looked down upon?

Also, I truly think @Godobeyer doesn't understand the term hypocrisy. Asking a question of someone you already know the answer to isn't hypocrisy at all. It's simply a tactic to make a point. Hypocrisy is espousing a certain stance, but acting in opposition to that stance. Words and actions in opposing positions. To come out holding the stance that discrimination against someone based upon their religion is wrong, then to turn around and admit to discrimination based upon someone's religion is hypocrisy. It doesn't matter what the discrimination is based upon. It really doesn't. It is hypocritical.

It is the same thing when admonishing the stance of discrimination racially based upon religion. If it isn't okay for someone to base their opinions of other races or the intermarriage thereof based upon their religious beliefs, then why should it be okay to do the same thing in regards to those of other religions? It's still discrimination. There is no inherent difference. So to hold one view as wrong and the other as okay is hypocritical.

Religion used as a means to justify prejudice or hate or discrimination is still wrong. Just because a stance is based upon a religious tenet or interpretation doesn't make it okay.

Hang on...are you suggesting that the correct religion to follow is the one with the most adherents in my region? So you follow Islam not because you see it as truth, but because it is culturally expected?
I'd be surprised if that was your point.

No I follow Islam because I believe it's true.

We were talking about majority, you think if it's about majority so Christianity is true religion in world ?

Why you think that Christianity had majority, since most of Christians are became athiests ?
