Speaking plainly we run into problems. Let alone wry humor. I did wonder the Evangelical humanist, did not go with statement.

With so much confusion around, it could be better to keep things plain , simple and straight ( I guess the phrase here is pun not intended.)

Good question. Perhaps that would have tipped the scales away from the author's point so he was cherry picking.

There are evangelicals from every country and race (I actually despise that word) out there.

It is the other way for me. Real Christianity. Not these who call themselves so. Christianity is just what Christ taught. Most people who call themselves Christians are probably biblicans rather than Christians. What Christ taught is really a universal, timeless message.

Everything that 'Christ' taught was plagiarised, even the teaching 'Love thy enemy', this was the political philosophy of Julius Caesar and was even venerated for it as 'Caesar Clementia.

I am not an expert on the subject but to me it looks like homosexuality should be tolerated, not promoted.

Should see if Govt should get out marriage business if we can design one. Those religious and want it can have through their organization.

Major props to American Muslims who have made so much progress. I hope more Muslims worldwide will follow suit regarding how they view LGBT rights.

I think this shows that lack of exposure to civilized ideas and culture can help foster homophobia, as is the case with some Muslim-majority countries. Maybe the Internet will change that someday, hopefully.
