I don't have the archaic British tools, but my laptop's word processor has a British dictionary that I'm constantly having to add to so "color" doesn't have a red squiggly line under it and the program insist I change it to "colour."Oddities:

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.
Okay, we have 4 Americans and 4 non Americans. It's a draw

In many ways it's the American dialects that are the most archaic, wot wit our retention of rhotic "R"s and archaic forms like "gotten," We never developed glottal "t"s or parasitic "r"s.No, languages are fluid and evolve. The U.K. is just a little behind wth their archiac form.
Two things I noticed
