Ah but the Trump supporters clearly are not concerned with Trump soon being our Groper-In-Chief-- that's of course as long as he doesn't do it to their wife or daughter. IOW, their moral outrage tends to be very limited.

It's still hard for me to understand why about 80% of the self-proclaimed "evangelicals" voted for him, whereas Trump said and did so many things that are the polar-opposite of what one reads in the "New Testament". Seems like mammon and hedonism is far more important than anything Jesus taught.

Sessions is the most anti marijuana activist in the senate, and now he'll be in charge of government enforcement.

I voted no. (I'm not calling you a whiney butt though). I'm tired of all the protesting. Enough already.

Alright, what are your suggestions as to what to do about this?

Do about it? Its done. The election is over. It goes through the system now as it always does. Will they all get approved? Probably not, but protesting in the streets is not going to do anything positive. Best form of protest is to vote and influence your friends to vote. Next time around it may be your candidate that wins.

Whiney butt would be your middle name if Hillary had won!!

I promise you that you are wrong about that. Disappointed? Yes, but I would do as I always do. Hope that they do good for us all. Certainly I'm not the protesting kind. I have a job you know.

OK, would I be a whiney-butt for protesting the appointment of someone as an Attorney General (main legal advisor to the government) who says that grabbing someone by their genitals is not sexual assault? (As Jeff Sessions said just over a month ago.)
“The Weekly Standard’s characterization of comments I made following Sunday’s Presidential debate is completely inaccurate,” the senator said in a statement provided to HuffPost. “My hesitation was based solely on confusion of the contents of the 2005 tape and the hypothetical posed by the reporter, which was asked in a chaotic post-debate environment.”

“I regret that it resulted in an inaccurate article that misrepresented my views,” Sessions’ statement continued. “Of course it is crystal clear that assault is unacceptable. I would never intentionally suggest otherwise‎.”

An no crossfire you are not a whiny-butt......but if you keep whining got a dime and you can call 1-800-94463:)
I can think of more than a few GOP Senators who probably won't confirm Sessions--due to his marijuana stance. For instance, both of Alaska's senators are GOP, and Alaska has legalized marijuana. I'm sure they don't want the Feds coming in and raiding.

I voted other.

Kinda can't believe I'm the only one so far to do so.

My first thought was "yes, okay" but then took the question to be mostly about rationale of 'okay to protest him who is unsure of what is sexual assault.' And given the linked piece, sorry I ain't seeing that. It's just rehashing debate I feel we've already had and thus far haven't seen anyone convince me that what Trump said is sexual assault, nor if what he said played out, it would be sexual assault.

In a sense, okay to protest it, but in another sense it is protesting based (seemingly based, I'd say) on misinformation. Or akin to "okay to protest Elizabeth Warren who doesn't understand 5 times 4 is 20?" I'm serious, that's how nonsensical it appears to me, which is why I voted "other."

I don't know if this prediction is cromulent, but I asked my local MJ testing lab owner (commercial tenant) about how he thinks the new admin will treat weed. He said he expects them to continue Obama's largely hands off policy because the legalization movement is gaining speed & state legal approval. I hope he's right.
And the AG works for the prez, so it would be Trump's attitudes which rule policy.

They way people (in general) have been throwing out "butt hurt" at the younger generation for protesting, being in touch with their feelings, and wanting to make the world a better place, it makes me wonder if those that are the "epicenter" of the "butt hurt" comments are old hippies who are themselves "butt hurt" for doing the same thing and eventually being beaten into submission?

The "run it like a business" Republicans are nothing more than foolish to not be first in line to legalize it now that the numbers are undeniable and going in good directions in states with medical and recreational, and a very big number is the massive cash revenue and trimmed budget from cutting down on drug enforcement.
Sessions is just a "Refer Madness" moron whose stupidity and science denial should disqualify him from office. If you can't read and comprehend basic science, or just deny it, you have no business holding public office.
Really, we don't need to just get rid of the EC, we need a basic minimums standards guide established for our politicians. Make them pass math tests, science tests, ethics tests, make sure they are psychologically fit and healthy, make sure they are free of a criminal or otherwise questionable background. But, nope, that's too much "real change" for people.
