The anti-Christ teaches opposite to Christ....Christ said those who swear by the sacrifice are guilty of it....
Pharisees (John, Paul, Simon) said it is a good thing the vine-dressers son was murdered by them as then you get a free inheritance, which they called grace to the headstone (plummet-line Zec 4:7)....which Christ said you will be punished for….he also said don’t follow Pharisees or those who use EGO (I) I-Mee (AM) or eggizō (the time is near), which they all do…
So anyone following those is a worker of iniquity according to Christ and the Bibles wording.

I wouldn't spout off on the "change" argument. The Mormons have had plenty of changes themselves.

the doctrine has never changed, the way we teach has never changed, what we teach has never changed.

if you're talking about organizational changes? sure when they were growing and there was a need to accomodate a larger church. but, they were done at a church wide level, it was not an "option" it was a manditory change to every stake and ward.

If you're talking about gospel changes? no, gospel doctrine has remained the same since the beginning of time.
The has been new revelation given to us regarding the times and new things that pop up that are disgusting, destructive, and addictive, things like Pornography wasn't around in the early-1800's.

(Pornography is as old as civilization but the concept of pornography as understood today did not exist until the Victorian era 1837-1901)

Nice try, madhatter.

Polygamy: Stopped practicing when there was political/social pressure.

Blacks and the Priesthood: Allowed all men the priesthood late in the civil rights movement when there was political/social pressure.

Endowment: Signs were removed and sections changed when there was social/political pressure.

Shall we continue?

Poligamy - Abolished when it became illegal because we are to abide by the laws of the land "We believe in being subject to kings, rulers, and magistrates, ect..." if it wasn't illegal it would more than likely still be in effect.

Blacks and the priesthood - was a revelation from god at the time when it was allowed for them, not "political pressure" there's "political pressure" on us about other things that we still do and will never change. It was prophesied that there would come a time when black males could hold the priesthood even before the time came, there were black males who were members of the church before hand and it was understood that they would be able to hold the priethood in due time.

Endowment wasn't, especially due to "political pressure" it is a temple ordinace, our ordinaces have never changed.

Stop reading Anti-mormon literature and start reading un-bias materials or getting your facts from a proper source.

So it changed because of the laws of the land. Bottom line: it changed.

Blacks and the priesthood - was a revelation from god at the time when it was allowed for them, not "political pressure" there's "political pressure" on us about other things that we still do and will never change. It was prophesied that there would come a time when black males could hold the priesthood even before the time came.

Fact: Blacks received the priesthood during an intense time of civil rights. There most certainly was pressure.

Please cite to me the prophesy that says black males would hold the priesthood.

Endowment wasn't, especially due to "political pressure" it is a temple ordinace, our ordinaces have never changed.

Fact: The endowment has changed. Perhaps your too young to know this. It isn't exactly taught in Sunday School.

Stop reading Anti-mormon literature and start reading un-bias materials once in a while.

I don't read anti-Mormon literature.

I AM LDS!

muahahahahahahaha

now pick your jaw up off the floor and try again.

If you are truely LDS then why would you talk down about your own religion?

Do you see my number of posts, boy? Ask anyone here and they will confirm I'm LDS. I was posting in the RF when you were in diapers.

Now, do you want to try and answer my questions? After all, this thread isn't about me and I wasn't talking down my religion. I accept the facts.

Now I am not black, but if I were I would take a wee bit of issue with the verb you used.

I must also congratulate you on some fine mind-acrobatics you are using to justify the racist history of your strange little cult.

*pokes nose in to confirm (not that it should need confirming) that Nutshell has been posting in the LDS forum for what, 2 years now? and is in line with Becky and Jonny and Katzpur and DeepShadow and FFH on Mormon doctrine.*

That was really unnecessary. When you start labeling others a "strange little cult" you reveal that you are just like the bigots who were racist against blacks.

Mike, I must take exception to you including FFH. :D

Just kidding. I'm sure he's a fine Mormon. I'm just not into Bible codes, etc.

Read the proclamations writtin in the back of the D&C buddy.

Official Declaration 2 - (excerpt) September 30th 1978; 148th semiannual General confrence-
Dear Brethren,
Aware of the promises made by the prophets and presidents of the Church who have preceeded us that at some time, in God's eternal plan, all of our brethren who are worthy may recieve the priesthood, and and witnessing the faithfulness of those from whom the priesthood was withheld, we have pleaded long an earnestly in behalf of these.......Continued....

He has heard our prayers, and by Revelation has confirmed that the long-promised day has come when every faithful, worthy man in the church may recieve the holy priesthood.

I have to agree with you there, Bible codes im sure have something to them, but if you get too deep you can get sucked in. the feeling i get when i just think about them is that there is truth, but you need to let the spirit guide you and continually pray when researching that stuff..... there's a reason the church warns against it.

OK...so these "prophesies" were secret until it came time to "allow" blacks to hold the priesthood?

No comment on the changing endowment?
