Good points made above.

1) The reason why there are Millions of interpretations of the Bible and numerous translations is the work of the Devil/Satan to confuse so that truth cannot be found. And, yes, the Devil/Satan does exist.
Exists in what way?

And offer the facts and coherent explanation of these facts that demonstrate your claim is true.

2) I don't have a Literalist Interpretation of the Bible. The Bible teaches Esoteric and Exoteric knowledge. The Devil/Satan has given 2.2 Billions Christians Exoteric Knowledge, because with this type of knowledge it's impossible to stop Sinning.
You seem to have adopted some ideas from some form of Christianity that is derived from the Bible in a way that takes it seriously, if not literally to some degree.

So assuming the Devil actually exists, what purpose has it served for God to create this being when it only causes problems? Seems to have been a huge error for the aims God wants.

Can you acknowledge that it's more reasonable to interpret God and the Devil as metaphors for the good and bad moral drives that humans have? The struggle of good and evil in religious stories can be easily interpreted as the internal struggle many of we morals have. The literal interpretation that we mortals are spectators in a world that a God created that includes God creating evil doesn't really make any sense IF this God is supposed to be smart, wise, and moral. It's like dumping buckets of termites in a house you are building because you want to see the struggle between the pest control company and the bugs. And neither ever win.

You cannot be a True Christian without being an Extremist. You are Totally Devoted, otherwise you are not a Christian.
To my mind the literalist interpretation of the Bible God MAKES God the sinner, for creating evil. This tends to confuse true believers quite a bit. It's an absurdity to interpret this way. And I suggest it is the literalist interpretation that IS the Devil being represented in this religious approach.

Do you follow me here? I'm suggesting that the more a Christian tries to interpret the Bible and related Christian concepts literally the MORE it creates evil as an attitude, which is represented by the idea of the Devil. So the more rigid the believer, the more of the Devil they becomes. The more of a hellish state they create for themselves.

To my mind the way to the truth is to let go the temptation for an final and absolute truth, and this means let go the literalist interpretation. A symbolic interpretation of Christians concepts works vastly better. It actually challenges the self to work towards living a heavenly state versus a hellish state. The heavenly state is one of virtues, tolerance, love, openness, charity, etc. And the cellist state is one of vice and absolutism, greed, condemnation, intolerance, closed mindedness, etc. The salvation to the heavenly state is the self AS SAVIOR finding a path towards a less dogmatic and rigid mind, to a more open and fluid approach.

I know this doesn't appeal to the believer's superficial needs and the ego, but that is part of the struggle. It's easy to adopt a set of religious concepts from others and then apply them as an agent. It's hard to rise above this temptation.

Let's be clear, we can both use reason! What you don't have is trust in the greater reasoning power of God!

If one looks to Jesus as 'God with us', then you can see that Jesus was not without reason. In fact, he put his detractors to shame by the wisdom of his words!
And then they killed him, so they weren’t that shamed

Why would you want me to see an obviously manipulated video used for Christian propaganda? I have seen many such manipulated videos in evangelical missionary churches back in my time in USA. They are frankly laughable were it not for the fact that church members back in the West believe them and continue to give these conversion missions money.
But look I can do better. Watch this video.

I prefer Dharmic religion as well. They just seem more honest and while I still don’t agree with them 100%, they clearly thought things out more. I like how Gods must also not screw up or They get demoted. That kind of personal responsibility is refreshing.

If the prophets speak God's words then to deny the Bible is to deny God! A prophet is claiming to be no more than a mouthpiece for God.
God told me that He didn’t say half of what is in there. Here’s my very basic idolatry test: would you side with God or the Bible if God physically told you the Bible was wrong?

The Biblical story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal is interesting because it's the story of a prophet who wishes to demonstrate to lsrael that his god is the one true God. The prophets of Baal (pl. Baalim, a god identified by some as Molech) take up the challenge and meet with Elijah at Mt. Carmel. The story is told in 1 Kings 18.

The outcome of the challenge was that Elijah's God shows himself to be powerful and true, and the people recognise that they've been deceived by the prophets of Baal. These prophets are then put to death.

I believe that it's still possible to distinguish the true God from false gods by the power that God manifests through His intervention in this world, particularly in the realm of deliverance and healing.

How can you tell that your gods are true?
It never floats through your mind that he cheated, such as using oil?

Are they suppressed according to Trek lore? I thought they just evolved to be less emotional.

It's interesting that Nemoy added the emotionally detached element of his character to create more of a distinctive contrast with Shatner. It was brilliant. In the original pilot Spock was vastly more emotional.

The reason humans are so emotional is due to our primitive emotion centers that still exist from our primitive past. Our fight or flight fear response mechanism isms are still intact, but we don't really need them any more. This overactive emotion center makes it difficult for people to function if they don't have high emotional intelligence and well developed reasoning skill.
I think the original series waves off Spock as he is half human. However, as the franchise grew, it was a species-wide issue. You had to perform a religious ritual to remove emotion. Spock almost completed it just prior to the first movie.

Yes, faith is the key, lMO. You can receive Christ by faith, trusting the Holy Spirit, or you can deny him.

If you're not interested in the possibility of eternal life for your soul, then stick to reading secular books.

If you think you know the Gospel, and you reject the message, then that's the end of the matter. You, like the rest of us, will face death in the knowledge that choices were made.

Celebrate being a humanist, while you can. Eat, drink, and be merry!
Does Jesus go back in time to prevent his execution every time someone doesn’t believe him? Did he die for our sins or not? I’m just trying to imagine poor Jesus, going through a revolving door of time every time he’s offended by someone.

This only betrays an ignorance of the covenant under which the lsraelites lived. You should read the list of blessings and curses in Deuteronomy 28.

The promise of eternity is with those who are children of God in holiness. The challenge is to know the way of holiness.
But there is no proof that they were evil. The authors just make up stupid accusations.

Righteousness under the law is different from the righteousness of God. Do you agree?

Righteousness, as in keeping "My statutes", will be the requirement under the kingdom of God, whereas David is made king (Ezekiel 37:24). And wickedness, sinning, is transgressing the law. (1 John 3:4). God enjoins one to turn away from wickedness/sin to righteousness (Ez 33:9) and live.

Jesus was the one that practiced, and fulfilled, the law.

Romans 9:30-32. 'What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
But lsrael, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
Whereof? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;'

The covenant that preceded the Mosaic covenant was a covenant of faith, and it was Abraham to whom faith was counted as righteousness [Genesis 15:6]. It is no different for Gentiles. Gentiles do not need to follow the law of Moses as a preparation for receiving Christ. They simply accept the Spirit of righteousness by grace. Gentiles recognise that it was Jesus, a Jew, who fulfilled the law.

Genesis 26:5

5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

To be a Disciple of Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ you must do everything he does. Amen! Yeshua/Jesus Practiced and Fulfilled the Law and you must do likewise to be a Disciple. Abraham practiced Laws and Statutes.
