and you believe God penned your scripture?I'm sure there are documents but it does not matter. What would you rather believe in: A divine book? or man-made document?

He revealed it, it is way more accurate than man made documents. Qur´an remains pure and unchanged while still being the truth.and you believe God penned your scripture?
I heard the Muhamad got the reveal from an angelHe revealed it, it is way more accurate than man made documents. Qur´an remains pure and unchanged while still being the truth.
I couldn't care less what you label yourself.
You play too much.I heard the Muhamad got the reveal from an angel
I also hear that Moses got the word directly from God
and the Carpenter and God are as one......
I agree.You play too much.
Not really.I agree.
However, he does have a valid point.
Which Manchester? There are about 30-some of them.If anyone in the Manchester area is willing to be involved in my student documentary, discussing your religion and beliefs. Please email me at :[email protected]
Actually, he does.Not really.
I've read parts of the Koran. It has all the ear-marks of a book produced by men. It is obvious to me, but I guess a person of faith has difficulty seeing it. I did read the book, Why I Am Not a Muslim, by Ibn Warraq. It is a fascinating read. I highly recommend it.He revealed it, it is way more accurate than man made documents. Qur´an remains pure and unchanged while still being the truth.
I challenge both of you to pick out an error in the Qur´an. If you do, i will accept your beliefs and convert.Actually, he does.
Not at all.I've read parts of the Koran. It has all the ear-marks of a book produced by men. It is obvious to me, but I guess a person of faith has difficulty seeing it. I did read the book, Why I Am Not a Muslim, by Ibn Warraq. It is a fascinating read. I highly recommend it.
you really need to work on your reading comprehension skills.I challenge both of you to pick out an error in the Qur´an. If you do, i will accept your beliefs and convert.
I do not recall a unsuccessful comprehension by me. Anyhow, i challenge you and everyone on this forum to give me one error in the Qur´an. If they do then i will convert.you really need to work on your reading comprehension skills.
You missed the point made by ThiefI do not recall a unsuccessful comprehension by me.
Already been done.Anyhow, i challenge you and everyone on this forum to give me one error in the Qur´an.
bold faced lieIf they do then i will convert.
Which error? I do not see that as a error, but a misconceiving belief. You missed the point made by Thief
Already been done.
bold faced lie
Three words? Not a very effective rebuttal, Jabar. If the Koran is what you claim then reading a work critical to Islam is not going to shake your faith. It will only make you a more effective debater. Personally, I think Ibn Warraq, a former Muslim, has written a stinging criticism that you may have great difficulty refuting. This, however, is off topic. I should desist. Not at all.
I don't know Nefelie. I think if the divine were in me I would have a much better understanding of string theory. You are confusing Pantheism with Panentheism.
As a Pantheist, I believe that the universe it self is “god” (“divine” is a more appropriate word) AND everything in it. Including you
That is a tough one. I have never had a sense of the divine, and quite possibly this figures strongly in my being an atheist. Does the god of the Pantheist seek worship? Is he even self-aware?Nefelie said:Try not to differ “god” from anything else. That’s the hard part. If you manage to grasp the idea that everything is divine, including yourself, then it is very easy to understand where this consciousness is ( = everywhere, starting from you), how does it affect the world ( = it IS the world and it is affecting it the same way you do), and so on.
Give it some thought .
Christians say the same thing of the Old and New Testaments, but they are full of errors all the same. I hear the Koran has errors as well, but you'd have to read works critical of Islam to discover this.Yes, Qur'an has no errors.
