Atheists Will go to Heaven?

Well, I agree with the audacious part.
God is God right, so I trust whatever judgement given to me will be just.
I mean do you think it is ok to trust God's judgement?

It's hard not to be right when you know everything. It's those gray areas that are so perplexing.

If we believe without proof, we'd have to believe in all that is not proven or proveable. It makes sense to not believe until we see proof. Can we be faulted for not believing in a God who hides?

Well, yes, it makes sense, but that is not proof, that we ought not to believe in God.

There will be a very low bar if I get in.

I'll be behind you, boosting you up. I could also use a helping hand myself.

Some believe that they could bribe their way into heaven. Threaten? Extort? Deceive? Pick the lock on the pearly gates? Distract? Redefine (like changing the word torture so that torture doesn't exist....as John Woo did for W. Bush...which is another way of lying)? Convoy (with our 18 wheelers, ram the gate going 98)? Explosives? Murder? (Lets remember that the Mafia still goes to Catholic church, and still count rosary beads and says hail Marys...sometimes as a precautionary measure for crimes that they are about to commit). Rocket? (hah...science is good for theology)....oops, overshot the cloud.....falling into the pit.

Will heaven write a special pass for those who murdered Gays? But, aren't they doing God's job? Actually, humans should not do God's jobs (judge not lest ye be judged.....only God is the judge).

NRA (guns for God?) We could defend heaven with them.

When the lower eastside of the Bronx does move to heaven, is heaven still heaven? Will there be grafitti all over heaven? Trash? Dogs pooping? (But, what if we love rover?). With any luck, poop will fall through the clouds (look out below).

Dunno, but what I do know is that some atheists and agnostics seem to be significantly more "Christlike" than some Christians I know. Either way, it's not my role to judge if they're going upstairs, downstairs, or none of the above.

By being good, the escalator ride will have plenty of space. When we look across to the down escalator, we'll see a lot of disillusioned Christians screaming that they were good, and threatening to get their guns.

Seriously, you can't even think of one, not one? What about half a reason, or a quarter?
I would think that any reasonable person will be able to come up with at least one viable reason why God would deny entrance into heaven, to those who denied His existence, and possibly induced others to do the same. I mean, at least one reason?
Nope, if God is reasonable and cares whether people believe then an omnipotent God is capable of convincing them.

The complete lack of evidence for God's existence suggests to me that God doesn't give a rat's tail whether or not people believe.

In my opinion.

Maybe you're just not looking in the right place. Since I converted I see Him all the time.

First we need to know if heaven exists. Assuming it does then im afraid i would the get on with all those christians who tell me i will burn in hell
My first thought as well, since I don't believe in heaven. Hard to go or not go to a nonexistent place. Hogwarts does sound like fun though. There or the Chocolate Factory with Willy Wonka.

In fairness, if they do they are doing it to please their Catholic mothers or grandmothers. I doubt very much they believe it. I have no idea who gets into Heaven, and neither does anyone else. We are not the final judge. All we can do is try to live the best lives we can and worship in the best way we know how. If that means not worshiping, then so be it. I don't think there are any guarantees. You can't just say, "Well, I'm saved so I can do whatever I want and I've got a golden ticket". That's just my opinion. If it's sacrilege then I guess that's on me.

Are you kidding? Willy Wonka was totally creepy. I didn't pick up on it until I re-watched the movie as an adult.

Was the Pope wrong about atheists getting into heaven?

More recently (April 15th, 2018) Pope Francis claimed that atheists get to Heaven, thus reinforcing the impression that his opinions on the afterlife are somewhat clumsy when compared to standard biblical views. Both statements, in fact, have to do with the eternal destiny of people, the former suggesting the prospect of annihilation (i.e. the waning away of the soul) and the latter implying a form of universalism (i.e. all will ultimately be saved regardless of their faith in Christ).
Do Atheists go to Heaven? Pope Francis says yes

No, the most Blessed Pope is correct.

I didn't watch the second one. I watched the first one with friends at a small town theatre. There was a door prize of a toy caterpillar bulldozer filled with chocolate. We had all imbibed, and had the m - munchies. We took turns going out to the concession stand and buying chocolate. They almost sold out I think. But my friend (and room-mate at the time) won the door prize, and had to go to the front of the theatre after the movie to get it. All the little kids started booing him, so we all started cheering him on. The bulldozer remained on display in our apartment, and we got to retell the story many times. First time I've retold it in about 50 years, lol.

All souls progress to the next life under the bounty of God.

Heaven is nearness to God and Hell is remoteness. We are given the free will chance in this life to choose Heaven. The Bible shows this as being born again in the spirit and following Christ. There is more than one death mentioned, one we can not put off, the other is our choice.
